Except now we know three things: 1) Linkara whichever was the original was effected by a memory virus. Not a wipe, a pathogenic virus. Likely keyed to his genetic structure. 2) The "other" Linkara would have been programed with memories up to the point of replacement for the sake of infiltration. 3) The "other" Linkara has no long term memory at all. Given Linksano's track record; and knowing what we know now; its entirely possible that the "clone" is in fact the original who's memory has been damaged by the virus over a prolonged period. Additionally the only true way of knowing would be if Linksano's control over the clone was still in effect. Either one could still be the clone.

The weird comic was alright, I'm not really into old, pulpy science fiction comics so it was just weird to see Star Trek like that… but it was sufficiently fun and entertaining to watch! Thing was is that the clone matured naturally, like Cell from Dragonball Z. At this point it's an artificial life form that can call it's own shots. Currently, it's mindset is that of a confused baby, as it wasn't fully programmed like a kaminoian clone trooper, bred to fight.

It'll be interesting to see how the Clone Saga arc will fit in with Halloween. After all, there does tend to be a theme of the comics matching with the storyline. Silent Hill dealt with psychological breakdowns in the face of the supernatural, The Things dealt with paranoia over what/who is and what/who isn't, and Nightmare on Elm Street dealt with fear of abstract entities. Gonna be something to see how going back to each of these franchises and the Clone saga come together for whatever's going down in October.

Planetary Genocide! Truly the best solution. With the way the last episode ended I was expecting something bigger. But the prospect of Linksano being able to tweak people's memories like that... It's still a pretty big deal. I've got to wonder why Linksano didn't bring up this bit when the clone first showed up. There's also the question of where the clone got the coat and hat, and why part of his outfit is burnt. Overall I feel this explanation seems legit, but it raises further questions. I'm betting that those questions are intentional.

I do think the clone might be tied to Mechakara. But not like most varients of this theory. Anyway you think of it, it just doesn't make sense to me. If the plot hole energy regenerated anything from Mechakara it would be his skin. Which wasn't really his skin at all. He took it from the Linkara of his world. And wouldn't that Linkara have a motive to attack Pollo? After all Mechakara WAS his world's Pollo. He seemed harmless to him at first before he was stabbed in the back. He also might know enough about the transferring device to attack that first. If I'm onto something I'd expect more of Linkara's robots and AI allies will be attacked.

Fun fact: Mom is a major trekker so some of her coworkers got a book of old Star Trek Comics as a gift. Sure enough I checked and the book called "Star Trek- The Key Collection" is a collection of the gold key comics including this one. LINKARA: (To Linksano) Sooooooooo you're saying you're first plan to try and conquer the world when Mechakara was still a threat was actually this long intriicate and well thought out plan of working with me to make a clone of Spoony so you could make clones of everyone else to take over likely everyone at [TGWTG] and then the planet, even thinking as far as to use mind wiping technology so I would completely forget I even asked you that or that we had ever previously worked together or even known one another. LINKARA: Soooooooo you only had that one plan didn't you and just winged a bunch of random elements together? *Crosses arms* See this is why you shouldn't of tried taking over the world. DR. LINKSANO: Look the fact I couldn't even take over the room of that blasted creature Moarte for more then a month was more then proof of that. Felt something like that could of been a good added joke except with uh better dialogue but still good stuff with this though I'm sure since this is the clone saga we'll have to have more of a twist then just this explanation. It's been a long time since we've had a new AT4W episode being posted on the traditional Monday. Guess Lewis is all caught up on things. 0:38- Either way, we all got to see Mirrorkara (Mirror Universe Linkara) for the first time. Some time ago at Barnes & Noble, I saw some hard cover copies of the complete Gold Key Star Trek comics collection. Just FYI. 3:58- (As Judge Dredd) I knew you'd say that. 5:09- I was thinking more of Star Trek vs. the Little Shop of Horrors. 8:22 & 8:30- "Star Trek vs. the Thing" and "Star Trek vs. Evil Dead." ...SOMEONE NEEDS TO FREAKIN' DO THOSE. 14:39- I still think that the writers and artists of this thing were smoking SOME plants when they were making this thing. 15:13- With dialogue like this, I feeling like this is a Star Trek TOS episode that would later be rifted on MST3K. 18:14- I don't think Alfred Pennyworth thought that either. As always, looking forward to seeing what's gonna happen in October.

Funniest thing I ever heard in reference to Star Trek. Two kids would get together and watch the show on a regular basis. They had started a new episode after seeing a few and one of the kids turned to the other and said "I wonder when they will get to Boldlygo?" The other kid turned to him and asked rather confounded "What?" His friend replied "They say at the beginning of each episode that they are going to the planet Boldlygo, but they never get there." The other kid just shook his head in bewilderment and muttered "Why are we friends?"

Storyline Spoilers Okay so we know that Linksano did create a clone of Linkara. He made it all the way back during the first year of the show, just after helping Linkara clone Spoony. We now know that Linkara didn’t remember because Linksano pulled an “Identity Crisis” and erased his memory, which is also why Linkara didn’t recognize Linksano during the Warrior #2-3 review. We also know that the Linkara we’ve been following is the original. We also know that Doc’s lab was a secret no one else knew about. So, for nearly ten years, a clone of Linkara has been developing in secret and eventually escaped. So, is Retrokara (as I call him, because he wears an older version of the reviewer outfit) actually the same as the clone that escaped the lab? If he is: why didn’t Doc say so after revealing the truth to Linkara? And if he’s not: where did he come from, and does that mean there is a third Linkara running around now? We still don’t know: who Erin is working for, what they want her to do, and who attacked Pollo.

You given that you said that Clone are still Human. I think that no matter who was the original, that the other one would life a happy life, I mean Linkara still taking part of CoC, I don't think they would care if Linkara is artificial born or natural born. The only think that I can think that would work, if the other Linkara show off his inhumane trait like Holo-linkara did before, not because of being a Clone, but do to the fact that this Linkara never realised that he was an asshold thank to Miss Gun Girl. I WASN'T going to comment on the trigger thing until you mentioned it... Soooo... So the issue with the term "triggered" is that honestly it's been horribly misused for a while now, even before people started using it as a "joke". The term IS a very important psychological term referring to events of experiences that cause episodes of PTSD. And it is no joke. ... HOWEVER. It is not proper to cross use the term for other anxiety based disorders, such as panic attacks, since they are specifically different anxiety disorders. The tricky part there is that with PTSD it is IMPOSSIBLE to tell what will trigger an episode, and what won't - even the subtlety of smell or texture can trigger an episode, and there is no known way to predict what will and won't trigger an episode. Other anxiety disorders, by contrast, typically have a specific known set of topics which are known to cause episodes, and exposure to those topics will cause episodes to happen. Triggers, in the psychiatry world, are therefore defined by being RANDOM events, not by specific topics relating to various trauma. Saying "trigger warning" makes no sense, since triggers often have barely tangential relationship to their trauma. Saying "content warning", does make sense, and is helpful, as it warns individuals who suffer from other anxiety disorders about potential issues. It's kind of like someone with schizoid personality disorder saying they have asperger's syndrome just because it's in vogue. It's kind of gross to co-opt other psychological disorders specific terms for a broader usage because then those disorders no longer have a good way to talk about their issues. ... ... No I wasn't going to make a "joke", psychiatry and psychological disorders are not something to joke about.

Yes, it's accurate that the command shirts were actually green. Note the dress uniforms and Kirk's alternate tunic. Those were made of different materials and the colors showed up more accurately.

Huh, not what I was expecting from this storyline. What I mean is that most of the recent storylines have had some cosmic or mystical twist to them but here it's a straight sci-fi clone scenario. That's not a bad thing, this show did start out with a primarily sci-fi flavor so it's nice to see the show getting back back to its roots.

You know, Linkara, I've watched some time ago second season of "Toys That Made Us" and the first episode was about Sta Trek toys. Apparently when Star Trek: TOS was popular, toy companies tried to cash in on it... but the toys they were making were basically old toys recolored and with Star Trek label slapped on it. Most of early toys for ST had to do with the show. It was only in when TNG started that companies put an effort into making Sta Trek toys. In a way this comic is in the same vein - nobody on the team watched the show but they still wanted to cash in on Star Trek.

Well that explains a lot. I would've thought that Linksano would've impersonate Linkara to test his new plan since they look alike which is why Linkara didn't remember because he was probably away when the whole Spoony Clone thing happened. Can't wait to see how this turns out next month.
