Worf totally deserves to be the top of the list. Also his performance in PIC S3 was amazing; he was put through so much shit in TNG and DS9, but he gets help and grows as a person, and I'm so happy that he got to do that.

Jonathan Frakes managed to make his way into an MCI Friends and Family commercial with all seven members of the TOS crew. While I won't count it as an episode appearance, I have to give him part credit for TOS. In addition to TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, LD, PIC, DIS, and SNW (the latter two behind the camera). They really need to sneak him into Prodigy, even if just for a voice cameo.

Worf really should be the next one to get a series like Picard. In fact, I think it would be clever to make these series a regular thing? But, imagine how excided Trek fans would get if it was announced there was going to be a 10 episode series called "Worf: Son of Mogh". You could have special guest appearences from TNG and DS9 characters and the entire quest he goes on could be revealed to him by Sisko? And, like any great Klingon fable, he has to find worthy warriors to join him on his quest? Perhaps, he has a dream with Dax telling him where to find these 'warriors'? It would be great fun and have LOTS of Kingon lore as well as nods to past Trek series he was in. David

@davidaston5773 Жыл бұрын
@@RJSRdg Haha! I love that! Because OF COURSE Michael Dorn plays his own grandfather. I was just watching "Parallels" and loved Worf as the focus. What makes that story so good is you see two possible outcomes of "Best of both Worlds" with a reality where Picard died and one very disturbing reality where the Enterprise is the ONLY ship left fighting the Borg. So, logically, there's one where Tasha Yar never died. Or Q NEVER warned Picard of the Borg. A series with Worf as the star with a script as good as the best of TNG and DS9 would be a win win for everyone. Or you time travel idea ✌

I’d like to suggest you do something similar for all regular and recurring characters, no matter who played them. So for example you have Spock in both pilots, TOS, TAS, the six TOS films, guest shots in TNG and the Kelvin films by two people, and Kirk in the second pilot, TOS, TAS, the first seven films, the Kelvin films, and guest shots in the recent streaming series. If you did this, I’d suggest you arrange it in chronological order. With the first pilot, you’ve got Pike, Spock, and Number One, you can count The Menagerie for Pike and Una, as well as their Discovery and Strange New Worlds appearances. The second pilot introduces Kirk, Scotty, and Sulu, all of whom made appearances after TOS, as well as Lt. Leslie. And don’t forget the punk rocker on the bus! Lol Finally, you can also track appearances of the ships, shuttles, and runabouts, as well as Starbases, running from the beginning.

Am I the only one who wants to say "OK Computer" or "Computer" in the place of Google/Alexa and have Majel Barrett's voice talk back. I swear I want to say to my phone "Computer. What is the temperature" and have it respond in that computer voice "It is 27 degrees currently". One nerd could dream I guess.

I did not recognize Majel Barrett's voice as the TOS computer. But the computer voice was so distorted that it makes sense that the audience wouldn't recognize Nurse Chapel's voice coming out.

she wasn't the computer voice in TOS - Sean never said she was. She was "Number 1" and "Nurse Chappel" in TOS, characters that have surfaced again (separate actors in Strange New Worlds.). Majel was the computer voice in TNG era, and Voyager, including the TNG movies.

That would be an interesting list, a star trek character who directed more episodes than they appeared in.

If you're counting Thomas Riker, you should also count Hologram Janeway.

even more episodes if you count in non-trek series. Worf also appeared in the final episode of Webster and guest appearances of characters on Family Guy

I'm a bit confused - in my counting we've only got 176 Siskos (splitting all two-parters), and 178 x Chucky, "thanks" to his Prodigy appearences. Sure, Sisko had enough storylines and screen presence for arguably 3-10 times a Chakotay, but this is a pure numbers list. BTW I only count the data/lore-Battle as true data for Picard S3

You should also include credited episodes, including voice over, appearances, writer, producer, and directors.

"voice over" part was mentioned - Majel, as "Computer Voice". The opening monologue (opening credits) of TNG was Patrick Stewart doing the "where no one has been before" intro. The other shows have no such opening except TOS which was Bill Shatner doing the "where no man has gone before" intro. Can't count "Faith of the Heart" opening titles of Enterprise.

Tom Paris deserves to be on the list. Even though he went by a different name in the TNG episode "The First Duty" Robert McNeil was in all 7 seasons of Voyager and if Janeway was on this list then Tom Paris deserves to be on it as well.

The next list please whit not main cast. Guest stars like Dwight Schulz, John DeLancie, and of course our favorite Vorta, Ferengi, Andorian, and so on: Jeffrey Combs... I think that would be interesting too

If you are including the "computer" then don't you have to include the Enterprise herself? She must have appeared in at 300 episodes, admittedly different versions appeared, but if the computer voice can be carried across TOS/TAS/TNG/DS9 and VOY then the Big E must be counted as well.

Worf was great, and also we got to know much about Klingons, more than any other species! And it was cool Worf was like "the ideal klingon". "Klingons do not laugh" 🤣 yes they do. Klingons are not that honourable, especially that advocate in DS9. I like the klingon restaurant and the cook. He even plays klingon music and sings. And they have strategy and "Guile" 🤣
