Sean just slipped and proved that he's from the future as he stated that Section 31 was confirmed in 2029 to be a movie before going back in the past to our time to help get it started THIS year! My dream is that the movie involves going back in time to eradicate Section 31 at its inception and discovering that this changes nothing about the remainder of the Star Trek universe because Section 31 actually never accomplished anything. And we need never speak of it again.

After seeing that teaser, I'm one of those who spoke up and said it looked like generic sci-fi and was very disappointed, that's not to say I'm not looking forward to it, I hope my skepticsm is washed away once it airs. As for Robert Kazinsky (Sean Slater from Eastenders and many other things) WTF is he supposed to be, he looks rediculous? Let's hope the 2320s-2330s gives us a lot of Star Trek love.

Oh, so the two cherrished gentlemen who were (among others) accountable for the Star Trek show being designated as "Worst of all times" are producing the movie which doesn't look like Star Trek? What could go wrong? Thats surely gonna be a jolly good thing! Now... This looks like a complete desaster from top to bottom and there is really nothing nice I can say at this point but "I will propably watch it and hope for the best. And that's a credit I don't expect to get back.

my 2 biggest issues with this movie is visuels look to much like discovery wich is so strange since the movie is set between kirk death and encounter at farpoint and how rachel look like in the movie

Everything we know about Section 31? Let's see now, in DS9 and Enterprise they were basically just a glorified black ops team with some friends in high places. Then in Into Darkness they were suddenly capable of producing a mega-powerful warship with no-one noticing, but maybe you could chalk that down to the Federation's higher-ups panicking after the destruction of Vulcan and giving them much more resources than they had in the prime timeline. Then Discovery came along and f*cked everything up.

It's just not for me , Section 31 should not be a tv-series or movie heck i don't want to know much about section 31 that is what makes them mysterious and cool. Sometimes fleshing out something ruins it. Now i might be wrong and it's going to be great but currently i don't think so.

I lost all interest in this Long Trek after I saw that horrific not-even-slightly Trek trailer. Maybe the end product will be more Treklike...? Still, it will still probably be fun to watch (as it has Yeo in it) even if it ends up being utterly non-Trek.

This looks so awful. Section 31 (not unlike the Mirror Universe) is one of the weakest parts of the Trek lore. It's never been a welcome part of the franchise, or very well implemented into it (historically). This just looks to further the Disco style of Trek, which is better left to history, honestly. Between this, and Starfleet Academy (in the works, currently) they (mostly Kurtzman, and Goldman.... YUCK!!!!) have lost the plot. They've never cared much for Star Trek, and it shows. It's always more about pomp and circumstance, rather than well thought out diplomacy, as ST has famously been known for in the past. All one liners, and cheesy comebacks, rather than complex situations with nuanced characters. Just dreadful.
