Star Trek Klingon Academy game is not far off. It's set before Star Trek VI and has both Christopher Plumber and David Warner reprising their roles in live action fmv sequences between missions. Chang is training the new recruits for command, and is a mentor to the player character. The gameplay is a space sim where you control the ship using joystick or mouse and can give orders for power management, manueavers, damage control etc... Act 1 is a simulated invasion of the federation, while Chang lectures between mission. In act 2 the conflict between houses goes hot again and you fight for Chang's faction.
