Really enjoy helpful breakdowns of the game mechanics. I’ve been reading through the book & although the examples in it are helpful it’s very nice to have a concise explanation on video. More Trek please

Now I want to setup a social combat encounter with me as Gowron. "You're like a toothless old Grishnar cat trying to frighten us with your roar."

My next or third mission with my group is going to introduce all three types of combat.

🖖 I like the social "combat." That's why we also play Exalted (2nd & 3rd Editions). It, too, has a social combat system that can be quite engaging.

I’ll second this request. Would love to see an example of starship combat showing how damage is done.

Hello! Can you provide an example of how Starship Conflict damage works for both PCs and a GM?

I think its always difficult to allow Player skill/ knowledge determine character results. Just because a Player has quite Sound arguments, doesnt mean the character would get to the same conclusions. Also, it creates an difference between combat skills and social skills, if you dont allow Player explaining a maneuver to be More successful.

I just started to run a new STA2 game, and vids like this are extremely helpful, especially given the abstract nature of the 2d20 system (especially things like character advancement, which are, to say the least, atypical of RPG systems). Thanks!
