Yea people sometimes say that the prequels were just as bad or even worse that the sequels because of the movies, but the prequels basically gave Star Wars all of its story from explaining the Jedi and sith and the whole history of the Star Wars universe. Basically making the Star Wars universe what it is today.

Couldn't you please dub darkhorse Clone wars story about Quinlan Vos and Anakin? As far as I know they should be a part of canon since Disney made legend material canon again? Even so, they are such a great stories (eight books in total) and it was here that Assaj Ventress was invented and introduced.
