The starfighters are pretty heavily inspired by WW2 fighter planes. They basically removed the front rotor and added engines on the back of the vehicle. I really like them. Star Wars has always taken alot of inspiration from WW2 so it was inevitable that they'd adapt designs from WW2 fighterplanes at some point.

I guess, but the design choice still makes them seem mediocre and not intimidating at all…

I thought this episode was amazing! Although, I really wish this one was a little longer, it felt like in the scene where the episode ended there still should have been like 10-15 more minutes left. But other than that I felt like everything about this episode was awesome! This episode was just really able to get me invested with the relationship between Ahsoka and Sabine. I thought that the writing was fantastic, the acting was amazing, and the tone was perfect. And I feel like I can’t say enough just how incredible the music for this episode was, I’m so glad that they brought Kevin Kiner back to do this shows score. And I feel like I just cannot say enough just how great all the performances were in these episode. Each actor was giving a fantastic performance and I felt like they were all doing an amazing job for these characters. And have completely sold me on their performances for these characters. They all felt like they were fully dedicate and invested to their character and their role. I loved the scene where Ahsoka is training Sabine, it reminded me both of her training with Kanan in Rebels and Luke’s training with Obi Wan in a New Hope. It was also great to just see more of the master and apprentice aspects of Ahsoka and Sabine’s relationship. I also really liked getting to see Huyang have this sort of lightsaber training mode, just thought it was something cool for him to get to have. Also I’m completely convinced that Senator Xiono is working with Morgan Elsbeth’s group. There is no way he should be fighting the idea of Thrawn being back that hard, even to the point where he would insult Hera over it. And seeing Jacen Syndulla in live action was pretty cool. I thought the space battle was really cool, it was really intense and super exciting. And I loved all the unique and different shots throughout the scenes, it made it feel even more engaging. I really liked getting to see Ahsoka’s T-6 ship in action. Especially with the way its wings would rotate around to avoid the blaster fire. And when Ahsoka went out and destroyed one of the ships with her lightsabers it felt like a scene straight out of Clone Wars. And getting to see live action Purrgil was awesome. I really loved their design, they we so detailed and actually looked like giant space whales. I also really liked getting to see just how massive these things really are especially when in comparison to the ships. And I am curious to learn why there are so many of them just flying around in the atmosphere of this specific planet. I am very curious to see how the ending of this episode will lead into next week’s episode and how it will impact the future of this show and its continuing story. And I am already loving everything about this show and I can’t wait to see where this story and all the characters involved will go next. I cannot wait for next week’s episode. Rest in Peace Ray Stevenson

*sits down to eat* “Man I need something to watch” Ross’ reaction: “This looks like a job for me” On all seriousness, I absolutely loved seeing Kaz’s dad in live action. I never liked Resistance and I certainly never liked Kaz, but it’s still so cool for a show like that to be given recognition. It’s just ironic that Senator Xiono was such a bystander to the fight, but his son ended up being a leading member of the Resistance.

Great reaction, Man. My supposition is, it was either The Rakata or The Zeffo who created the technology for The Pathway To Peridea, millennia ago. However, I suspect The Grysk is THE THREAT that exists in this other, neighboring galaxy...unless Dave Filoni decides to follow through on the original plan that he and George had of adapting The Yuuzhan Vong in to canon (meant to take place in The Clone Wars). Yes, I definitely hope to see Jacen Syndulla grow up to be a powerful Force-using ace pilot and friend of The Jedi...but, NOT a Jedi, because I don't want to see yet another promising character have to follow the poor concepts of The Sequel Trilogy, by being murdered at Luke's New Jedi Praxeum. Maybe he can be a member of The Church Of The Force? BTW: I'm on the side of the fence that believes that Marrok is a Kaminoan-based clone of now-deceased Galen Marek. If he turns out to be just a cool original character (played by Sam Witwer, hopefully?), I'll be fine with that, too.

Great theories. Yeah Jacen doesn’t need to be a Jedi. Still don’t think Marrok will have any connection to a canon Starkiller though 😅

At least, unfortunately, that's what Iger, Kennedy, Kiri Hart, and Pablo Hidalgo decided on, around 2013; so, also unfortunately, Filoni and anyone else working on The SWU of this time period has to contend with this confected reality.

It always makes me laugh when people blame the Jedi and the Jedi code for Anakin's downfall. Just a few facts for the masses. By the time Anakin came along the Jedi had existed for over a thousand generations. Tens of thousands of Jedi living by the Jedi code. and how many Jedi turned to the dark side? Maybe a handful. then Anakin comes along and doesn't follow the code but somehow people blame the code and declare Jedi must change. Really? Wrong. It's not as if Anakin followed the code to a T and still became Vader. Sidious used Anakin's attachment to manipulate him. HIS ATTACHMENT. Anakin fell to the dark side because he DIDN'T adhere to the code. NOT because he did.

In this episode Ahsoka might also be referring to how the Jedi Council treated her during her trial, how they became military rather than peace keepers, how they were blind-sided by the Sith, and their lack of appreciation for the diversity of other Force sensitive people outside of or fringe to the Jedi order. Ahsoka would have had Grogu's Force abilities fade; unclear if Anakin's Force ability would have ever faded. What was more remarkable was how Yoda reacted to how Palatine's plans came together. It always seemed like he thought it was the will of the Force to accept a Trojan Horse of a clone army, but it also seemed that the rigidity of the council as an institution set them up to be manipulated by Palpatine, most of all when Palpatine could get the Jedi, as an institution, to turn on one of their own. The Jedi order tried to design out attachment and fear, but they just seemed to have always had a vulnerability to be manipulated. Ben Solo was also vulnerable. Could Luke have erected any psychic walls to have better protected Ben and himself?

@@anthonyyoutubefan7567 And look at how much good that's done for Iger and Kennedy especially. Absolutely JACKSHIT.
@anthonyyoutubefan7567 Жыл бұрын
@@McFrozenNuggets Exactly. I'll bet: IF there existed a World Between Worlds on Earth, Disney would use it to "alter some things" from 2013 onward? They probably don't want to answer that question.

The fighters remind me of a mix between the naboo starfighter and a podracer, and from the side shot when they all first showed up i honestly thought one was flying in grievous' ship model

I still think there’s some footage from the second half involving Thrawn that is yet to come.

I understand you have your issues with Ahsoka training Sabine, Ross. But in the episode of Rebels when Kanan trained Sabine to wield the Darksaber, Kanan and Hera both state how Sabine is too closed off from being attuned to the Force because she’s so Mandalorian. And I think when she kicked the Bendu and woke him up, I think he helped her get back into wielding the Darksaber. So, I think it makes sense.

Sabine will come in handy when it comes to Thrawn and the Ysalamiri which would severely limit Ahsoka but not Sabine.

Did Thrawn have any ysalamiri on board his ship before it was taken to the other galaxy? I assume that Thrawn would regain control of his ship after the purrgil leave, but Ezra is still a problem for Thrawn unless his Force abilities are negated.

Man, Kaz’s dad really let the New Republic die in a tragic death didn’t he. No wonder Kaz would be a resistance fighter rather than a cowardly enslaved senator. Hamato Xiono? More like Hamato See, Oh No. And yes that is the father of Kazuda Xiono from Resistance.
