Force Awakens ruined Star Wars the most. It destroyed the world building and reverted character arcs and growth right off the bat. 30 years later and the republic is inept and still fighting the empire.

It is weird that more people haven’t reached the enlightened position that E;R reached right off the bat. They utterly destroyed Han, the manliest character from the original Star Wars, and made him a deadbeat dad, but people were way more upset when they ruined Luke…. And he didn’t even appear in TFA until the very last scene. It really is incredible that it can be argued that both subsequent movies did even more damage to the lore! They broke the Force (Yoda lightning) and space warfare in TLJ (hyperspace kamikaze). In TroS, they then introduced light speed skipping, Force Healing (which ruins lightsabre combat), villains that didn’t know which way was up, and ruined the entire saga up to that point by bringing the Emperor back with possibly the worst line of dialogue ever written (“Somehow, the Emperor returned”).

Yep TFA is a terrible Star Wars movie because the world building and characterizations are crap. Its mediocre at best as just a superficial sci-fi adventure film but as a sequel to Return of the Jedi its awful. Han and Luke are both character assassinated. Luke would never abandon his friends/family like that and Han going back to being a smuggler was lazy af. He should've been a grand admiral of the fleet or something. I despise that movie!

The Andor show retconned the most interesting thing about the character. In Rogue One it is implied, and confirmed in ancillary material that came out with the film, that Andor's family were Separatists during the Clone Wars. He says in RO that he has "been in this fight" since he was six years old. To Andor this has been one long fight against the corrupt Republic that became the Empire, and the Rebels are just a continuation of Separatists who truly believed they were fighting against a corrupted Republic, rather than those at the top who were in it purely for greed, or the Sith manipulating both sides. But the show retconned his age (making him ten when the Clone Wars started) and showed nothing of his or his family's fight against the Republic. Tony Gilroy decided it was more interesting for Andor to be part of the goofy Beyond Thunderdome/Lord of the Flies kids. Maybe they could add something to Season 2, but I refuse to watch anything Disney anymore.

Yeah. I have to say that my favorite Companion for the Doctor is Romana II, (Her female interpretation of the 4th Doctor was perfect. I loved that initial pink and white 4th Doctor-inspired outfit.) followed by Leela who is literally the strongest female Companion of the entire series. A bit savage, but that woman was utterly logical and true to herself, and if someone attacked her, she would stab them with a knife which I think is badass.

I still swear I feel like the only person who had such an issue with Andor. It had 3 maybe 4 good episodes but the majority of it was a poorly written, often ridiculous, bore.
