Great couple of episodes covering both volumes 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I look at both versions of the clone wars as companion pieces. So I really don’t pit one over the other…the inconsistencies between the two definitely lends to the idea of these stories being stuff of legends and myths…things never did play out exactly how those stories are told so imo they track as both being important to Star Wars…

I honestly like Grievous’s accent in this better than the Russian one they gave him in Clone Wars. It plays into him being much more lethal and straightforward. Every aspect of him is just so much better when Gendy did it.

Agree. It’s such an odd thing because George had an idea for this character so different from Genndy yet Genndy was the one to introduce him. A victim of timing, unfortunately.

Im rewatching yalls videos and i ended up rewatching this series. i havent seen it since it first rereleased on disney plus. OMG do i consider this S tier star wars as well. It ultimately put me in a mood where i realized not that i want disney to get away from skywalker saga but i dont think they will ever be able to put out story telling like this in the star wars universe at all. I just want disney to put down all of star wars story telling unfortunately. I have a sour taste from everything theyve done tbh. i tried rewatching all the shows and i have to say, unfortunately since i lofve star wars so much, i have no attachment sentiment nor any fond memories of any of these new disneyfied shows or storytelling. Makes me very sad :(

Like you said in the previous video. There is beauty in simplicity and they mastered that in this series. Disney makes everything seem so unsaturated in terms of the fantasy, the extent of the war, the clone troopers and storm troopers capabilities, etc etc. PLEASE END IT. Ive grown tired of all this star wars content. There was beauty in having just 1-6 and this microseries tbh. Take mando for example and the general consensus in "we dont need jedi or the force to have a good star wars show" and it ruins it for viewers like me who want the whole package instead of this random mandolorian in this vast universe doing side bounties away from the overall plot of the "skywalkers" or the empire at the time. Its boring. The space cowboys and the space wizards and their "magic" beliefs is what i want and i wont have that anymore i can tell. Sad sad :(
