I found a few figures at the flea market a long time ago. Now a days, everyone selling at the flee market, have gotten smart with the dates on the toys they sell. I don't even try the thrift stores anymore, because they put their toys behind the counter, and charge Ebay prices.

Always love seeing vintage Kenner Droids content Mike. It's interesting to see the current retail prices being asked as well. They may not be in high demand, but there are a few figures that always seem to be really up there in price - and you're getting to those with your collection too. Stan Solo offered an amazing Droids C-3PO & R2-D2 at one time, but even those now are fetching $100-200+, if you can even find them on the secondary market. The Pro Customs Vlix (& other offerings) are excellent collection fillers if you can find or afford the real deal. Good luck on the rest of your Droids hunt my friend.

Nice information on Droids line. I don't collect them, however, I do have the re issue of TVC R2-D2 and BS of Boba Fett. Nice video on the toy fair/convention and Toshe Station's display. I like Reynolds reviews of his toy shows. I know Dallas Vintage Toys. I have been there several times and I know the owner of the store. He's nice and we have a lot in common on SW both vintage, POTF2, TVC, BS, etc. He even has graded figures/vehicles/playsets both loose, MOC, MIB. I want to go to Empire Toys in Ohio someday. I like those POTF coins. Even though I never had any, but I still like them. I will still go to toy/comic/sci fi conventions and go hunting for new and different SW items and check at local flea markets like First Monday Trade Days in Canton, TX.

He's back lol. Was starting to wonder where you were. Good to see you back on the Tube. Some of those prices are insane. I seen a Droids Fett go for $3000 a few years back. I was at Penrith collector con 2 weeks ago and got a good deal off of Joel from Tosche Station Toys. He has some great stuff. I wish Hasbro had made the rest of the Droids line but I know they only made the three because they already had the molds for them figures. Keep the great videos coming . Managed to get the whole Ewok line minus a few weapons . The droids have all r except the Tig, vlix and sise which I’ve got reproduction placeholders till I find originals . A Tig moc sold here in the uk on eBay recently for 460 pounds

I was fortunate enough to be at a community sale about 5 years ago just as the sun was coming up looking for Antiques, Jewelry, Coins, Watches and so on but I’m also collected Star Wars toys since the late 70’s anyway I ended up at a ladies sale who had a half of garage full of her sons and daughters toys from the 1980’s and I was there at the right time and place lol I ended up buying everything BUT she held onto the Star Wars toys until she made sure her sons didn’t want to keep them and about 3 months later she called me and said there are ok to be sold…. I had no idea what was going to be there all I knew was she wanted $500 cash lol and she said there was 3 cases of figures and a couple cardboard boxes of playsets ships etc and the other toys I bought were the cleanest and most complete toys I ever bought at a sale everything and every part there like with the full line of Kenner Indiana Jones even the card backs and such anyways I get there and to my surprise there were 8 of the droids line in those cases including an droids pop up R2 no C-3PO though 😔 there were over 100 figures complete some ships nothing major also I pulled the figures out that I left in the cases that I already had on my shelf’s and was surprised to find a hollow cheek Tusken that I never thought 💭 to check for… I did pay her more then the $500 that she was asking and since then I have been called back to her home several times. She and her husband live in a huge home in a wealthy neighborhood and I think she saved everything but there moving in a year or so and there purging more and more and I’m currently waiting on her to gather all her kids old video games and systems. Crazy thing a year prior to me buying all those toys she sold all her sons Transformers and GI Joes at the garage sales the year before and she showed me a photo and it covered her double car driveway and the first person bought all of it for $200

If it was a case of no one collecting them the prices would have plummeted. I don't doubt that no one is collecting them but the reason they are high is the same as all Star Wars vintage figures......a bunch of morons are overinflating the prices.
