I'm working for twenty years as a mechanical engineer and designer and have created lots of sheet metal parts. Seeing your Dad forming this single, huge Sheet was really amazing! Such complex Forms need a lot of knowledge to bend them. Your fellow colleagues _Evan & Katelyn_ have created a transparent LCD Screen in one of their recent videos. I thought MY dad had some great tools. Your dad’s shop is fantastic. I only got to use a metal brake once and that was in Metal Shop in jr. high school (and that was quite awhile ago). I had done a lot of welding and fabrication in my time. I wonder if the bend allowance was in mind with the bends. The thickness of the metal makes a difference when making bends, especially if you bend both directions.

Hmmm, an old monitor from a thrift store and a raspberry pi 4 you could make it actually work. LCD's are clear when you remove them from the frame and remove the back lighting unit. Cool project with lots of ideas for expansion. ;)
