In Rogue One, the rebels are already organized in the Alliance, while in Andor and the first seasons of Rebels they were acting as small independent groups. This episode of Rebels showed us the important day when Mon Mothma created the Alliance and the war with the empire officially started. Great watch :)

Colonel Yularen was the same guy from Clone Wars that voiced the Intros and he was an Admiral in the Galactic Republic and after the war ended he joined the Empire as one of the highest ranked Officers. He turned sour towards the jedi because his ship was destroyed during a reckless battle plan of Anakin and Ahsoka and he suffered injuries, but he survived. Later he even said that he didn't approve of the Jedi's methods of winning the war however he did admit that they were proven somehow effective.

He's also on the Death Star in the Original Film which was his first appearance in Star Wars, always interesting to see background character get a retroactive backstory!

I mean, we still haven't gotten to see the Ghorman massacre, what prompted Mon to give her speech, the speech in full, or how she got off of Coruscant. All of that could make for some pretty compelling television if you ask me.

You shouldn't be ashamed of getting emotional at that scene of solidarity by the various Rebel cells, it's a pivotal moment in Star Wars History, and worthy of getting caught up in the moment, and it's episodes like this that proves it's more then just a kids show that so many fans keep being dismissive of.

The last moment of the Alliance coming together for the first time is still one of my top moments of all of Star Wars, and of course Rebels specifically. I really hope we see some connection to that scene in season 2 of Andor. I mean, seeing some part of that actual scene would be amazing, from Mon's POV or Andor's, or whoever's. But I just have wanted to see more from that and see what she went through directly after giving the speech to getting to The Ghost. It's the biggest moment in Rebel history apart from the events of Rogue One and destroying both Death Stars. Every time I see it, it just makes me think about all the characters throughout the sagas and how huge this moment was for the galaxy as a whole for generations.

Just yesterday I was watching Rebels 2x17 "The Honorable Ones" cause it's my favorite episode of them all, when he realizes no one on the Empire cares for anyone, So Today this Episode is just perfect!!
