I had seen the scene so many times and didn't pick up on it until fairly recently. You have to listen very carefully. But it's there. I think a lot of good movies have parts that you can pick up on every time you watch it. I have seen It's a Wonderful Life countless times and am still picking up on new aspects. I didn't realize that Tom from the bank was at the Bailey house at the end after he was somewhat unreasonable earlier.

Revenge Of The Sith is my absolute favorite out of the prequels. The double climactic lightsaber duel that takes place toward the end of the movie, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader VS Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar and Yoda VS Emperor Palpatine on Coruscant in the Senate chamber are top notch across the board. Musical score, fight choreography, visual effects, audio effects and emotional impact. I give them all an A+.

Anakin's biggest problem wasn't being selfish, it was being afraid of loss. First for his mom and then for his wife and that fear, along with Palpatine's influence, sent him down the dark path and once you go down that path the darkness comes out to pull you in even faster and clouds your thoughts and actions and convinces you you're right even when you're far from it. The thing is Anakin needed a father more then a brother if only Qui-Gon had lived things would have been very different. But then maybe all of this needed to happen so that the prophecy could be fulfilled if that is what did happen was the fulfillment of "the Prophecy"

The beginning of the downfall of Anakin was how he was taken from his mother in the first Star Wars movie, I mean; in the republic the Jedi were identified at very early age, however the practical means by which they were incorporated into the academy were a lot more considerate, .. although he was freed by the deal Ben Kenobi’s teacher (Qui gon Jinn) made with Watto, .. it was way he was freed, and the circumstance, .. to take this child away from his mother in such a way began the unreconcilable ripples within the force!! picked up on within Jedi council session via Yoda & Mace windu, these ripples intensified during Anakin’s enrolment and early training, causing slight contempt for the council, and especially when learning they’re trust in him wasn’t sincere because of his force abilities. So in conclusion the Jedi order actually helped with the early stages of Vader’s creation not only by principle but more so practice In light of episode III Palpatine was controlling nearly everything!! however slight/subtle his manipulation of Anakin was nothing short of perfect, again based upon the vacuum in his life of no parents, although Ben Kenobi was like a father figure to him, His loyalty was first to the council which was also an underline problem between them, so in many respects Anakin felt alone, and it was the subtle encouragement of the chancellor (Palpatine) to engage and continue in exploring his passion and of course personal needs .. enter Padme, so I’m certainly in the understanding that he also arranged for her to have lesser role in politics as to be able to submerge into a more secretive relationship with Anakin, all the while slowly edging him more and more to the chancellors wishes.

Anakin's feelings of alienation actually started when he left his mother as a child. He really didn't want to leave but he did it with the intent of someday being strong enough to be able to go back and get his mother (liberate her from slavery), only to have her die in his arms. That to me is what drove Anakin to become a supreme jedi master, but he was impatient and he had a huge heart, but his ambitions and his emotional immaturity, got in the way. Anakin had suffered the trauma of being separated from his Mom at a young age, and was distrustful of the authority of the Jedi. I think his distrust of the Jedi was born from his experiences as a slave. As a slave, he was expected to "respect" his master despite the fact that slaves were often prone to being mistreated and disrespected by their owners. This mistrust would be extended to the Jedi as well as Obi-Wan. He would see their need to bring him along as a way of trying to control him, and he'd had enough of that as a slave. He totally misunderstood what they were trying to do as a way of helping him to learn patience and self-discipline, but he believed that they were looking down on him and being disrespectful, (because he trained so late, and he may have thought also that they looked down upon him due to his former life as a slave) especially because Qui gan Jin had believed that he was the chosen one. He also mistakenly believed that the council members were envious of his unique gifts, and were holding him back out of jealousy..., not true but Anakin had suffered so much that he was angry at everything especially his inability to control ppl and the events around him.

This has been so much fun to be on this journey with you! This all brought me back to when I was 4 years old, in the early eighties, and seeing Star Wars (A New Hope) in a theater for the first time. And seeing your reactions to these movies brought back my memories of seeing all these movies in the theaters. I'm a fan of Star Wars, Star Trek and just about all the sci Fi shows you can think of. It took all I had to keep the fan boy inside of me from commenting with spoilers. This is one of the best ones, it connects so many dots and brings a new dimension or understanding to how Anakin Skywalker was "seduced by the Dark Side of The Force...and became Darth Vader." But let's not forget something: Anakin did bring balance to The Force in Return Of The Jedi when he yeeted The Emperor off his front lawn and killed him. So, what to watch next? Well, to help connect a few more dots, other SW shows and movies that tie in between Episodes 3 and 4: I wholeheartedly recommend the Obi-Wan Kenobi miniseries, where we see him helping/overseeing Sen. Organa raise Leia and Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru as they raise Luke; Solo: A Star Wars story is a fun watch; the series Andor gives us a look into another hero of The Rebellion; and finally, I've gotta say Rogue One: A Star Wars story is an absolute must watch (again, my SW fanboy code of Jedi honor prevents me from giving spoilers into this particular movie). Love you! You're beautiful! Love your reactions!❤❤❤❤❤

So essentially, Palpatine/The Chancellor/Darth Sidious was orchestrating both sides of the war. In Ep I, we see him work to allow The Viceroy to land their Droid army on Naboo. In Ep II he has Dooku join forces with others on Geonosis to get Super Battle Droids. He also orchestrated the order of the Clone Army. In Ep II Obi-Wan learns Jedi Master Sifo-dyas ordered the Clone Army and was then killed. Sidious and Dooku were behind this. In Ep III he gets the apprentice he's been grooming all along. He sends Vader to kill The Viceroy and shuts down all Droids, and takes full control of the Clones.

There is a large fan theory about how Padme died. It was a mix of overwhelming sadness and something not explored in the movies but that was canon in the StarWars Universe. Palpatine was a master of extending his own life by drawing life from others through the force. He had used Anakin's connection to Padme to keep him alive while the suit was created and forced onto Anakin. This is why Padme stops breathing just as Vader's first breath through the mask is done. Again, fan theory, no proof, but it sounds better than the meme of "died from the big sad"

There is some proof actually, both in the film and later strongly hinted at in several of the Vader comics. Cutting the sound to base minimum, you can hear Vader's heartbeat get stronger while Padme's gets weaker. Palpatine used his power to draw life energies away from Padme and give them to Vader. Life Drain, the opposite power of a Jedi's force healing.

You have to understand. Anakin was a boy with emotions. Even when Quigon adopted him to became a Jedi, the Council didn't want jim to be a Jedi because he was too old in their eyes for training. That made him distressed and angry. Because he wanted nothing more to free his mother from bondage. It distressed hom more and more. When he gotten older, Anakin still carried the same angry; especially, when he found news of his mother's situation with The Sand People. And don't forget the time when Anakin was going to be appointed 'Master' by being on The Council, but was rejected. Master Yoda tried to help Anakin control his emotions and nightmares. Obviously, the training fail!

@marceloabad8545 lmao it disconnects nothing! There is a decade between that show and the two trilogies. It makes MORE sense those characters GROW into who we see them in the OT. Obi-Wan was alone. Had lost everyone. In hiding. Vader lost his love, the whole reason he went to the Dark Side. He blanes Obi-Wan for it. Grows to hate Sidious. It's the reason his theme doesn't play until the end. Instead of gatekeeping what should be watched, give her the opportunity to make her own decision on whether she likes it or not. EVERY reactor I've seen has called out its downfalls (which it certainly had I'm not saying it was perfect by any means) yet said they loved it and are glad they watched it.

Anakin endured a lot of suffering with his mom on Tatooine. The loss of the only decent possible father figure with Qui-gon's death. Bullying by younglings at the Jedi temple. Also literally being held back from knowledge about protecting and saving those he loved by the Jedi council. You'll see how loyal he was to those those he loved or cared for in the Clone Wars. He hated failing them. That ego of his and being called "the chosen one" was low hanging fruit for sneaky-sneaky snake Sidious.

I think out of the order 66 scenes, Aayla Secura's was the saddest for me. She was the green jedi on the flower planet (felucia), and if you notice when the clones drew their weapons, she didn't activate her lightsaber and looked up at the sky. She trusted her clones so much that it didn't even occur to her that they were aiming at her. And then they not only killed her - but kept firing even after she was clearly dead on the ground.

* As it turns out, it was Supreme Chancellor Palpatine who was putting those premonitions in Anakin's head in the first place. Darth Sidious is also the one who killed Padme across a great distance using the darkside of the force. Which demonstrates how powerful Emperor Palpatine was. No one ever did find out that it was Palpatine who killed Padme. Unfortunately.

@explorewithindiamovies7913 I hope that you see my comment because it's very important that you do. I absolutely love your Star Wars reactions so far. But before you watch the sequel trilogy, which is Episode 7: The Force Awakens, Episode 8: The Last Jedi, and Episode 9, you definitely need to watch both Solo: A Star Wars Story, followed by without a doubt Rouge One. Once you finish watching Rouge One, then start watching the sequel trilogy with Episode 7: The Force Awakens. But as for me, when it comes to the prequel trilogy, Episode 1: The Phantom Menace will always be my number one favorite due to Darth Maul. He's still my favorite out of the Star Wars Villains, followed by Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. At the time The Phantom Menace came out, Darth Maul was the first Star Wars character to ever use a double bladed lightsaber, which I thought was just so a M amazing and phenomenal. Then Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith would be my 2nd favorite, followed by Episode 2: Attack of the Clones being my third favorite. When it comes to the original trilogy, Episode 4: A New Hope will always be my number one favorite, followed by Episode 6: Return of the Jedi as my 2nd favorite, and then Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back as my third favorite. Also, in the future, I want to talk to you more about something that's related to Star Wars that I really can't talk about now, which I can't talk about it because it refers to things about the sequel trilogy that would spoil some things for you, but Disney has a few Star Wars rides at some of their theme parks that I think you would absolutely love to see and watch on KZbin. We'll definitely talk more about it after you've seen the sequel trilogy. But keep up the amazing work with your Star Wars reactions and I can't wait to see the rest of them soon. But like I said, the next movies you need to watch are Solo: A Star Wars Movie, followed by Rouge One before you watch the sequel trilogy. I really hope that helps you out, and may the force be with you, India! 😀

"His fate will be the same as ours". All three die on a death star Also, the tragedy of anakin is palpable, in his eyes, every familial figure he ever had either abandoned or betrayed him. Every father figure, every woman he loved, everyone he should have been able to trust treated him like a weapon they couldn't trust and openly always doubted him. To see him now is to be shocked at his actions and find him a monster, but to see the entire trilogy through his eyes, honestly, while not justified, who can really have expected him to make any different choices? The movie would have you assume Padme died of a broken heart, but it gets expanded upon later. Palpatine killed her. He wasn't lying to anakin about the ability to save people from death, but what he didn't share is that it's a vampiric healing. You suck the life and energy out of one thing to give it to another. There was one sith who was pseudo-immortal because of shenanigans like that. Palpatine, in order to save Anakin, leeched the life out of Padme to keep Anakin alive. He also knew the side effect of telling Vader he killed her by choking her out on mustafar (lava planet) because now Vader will suffer for that for the rest of his life (note the "she was alive, I felt it!" from vader. He knew in the moment he didn't kill her, but when the last person you have tells you that its true and you know shes dead now, you don't really have another answer and you blame yourself.) , and as for every other choice Palpatine makes for Vader, he wants him to suffer as much as possible, because constant suffering means anger/sorrow, and strong emotions makes a more powerful sith, and Vader is nothing but a weapon to Palpatine.

The interesting thing about this movie is that it was not very well received by Star Wars fans when it was released in theaters. I remember hearing people talking about how they felt dissatisfied with it. I don't remember all the reasons given by people but I do remember people grumbling about it being the worst one at that time. That said I was very young when it came out and I saw it for the first time nearly 20 years ago and I have no idea why it was disliked by some people.

40:25 There is a fan theory that Anakin and Padme were connected by the Force somehow, and Anakin/Vader was able to survive this only because he fed on Padmes life force... he lived on to become the Darth Vader we all know, but Padme lost her life force to him and died for no scientific reason.

there are several factors for anakin turning, it makes a lot more sense if you have seen clone wars. there are certain scenes in this movie that make anakins point of view more easy to understand in relation to when he states that the jedi are evil from his point of view. the perfect example of this is palpatine stating that dooku is ''too dangerous to be kept alive'' and mace windu stating that palpatine is ''too dangerous to be alive''. contrary to what the narrative of this movie makes you think there truly is no objective good or evil in star wars. also theoretically none of anakins decisions were decisions that he himself was really able to make, he was a tool of the force said to bring balance as the chosen one (there are now only 2 sith and only 2 jedi), all the things that happened here we're pretty much caused by destiny unfortunately for him and the people around him

26:00 the general idea is that Mace Windu demonstrated that there is no fundamental difference between the Jedi and the Sith to Anakin. So left with the choice between Windu (asshole that constantly suppressed him) and Palpatine (possibly the ONLY friend aside from Obi Wan and also the only person who could save Padme). Also Palpatine is spitting fact, religious cult officials do not have the authority to arrest the chancellor on basis of faith difference.

Also palpatine used a sith power it's explained in the books called force drain and he used padme's life essence to jumpstart Darth Vader's supposedly when you slow it down when you have it on DVD you can hear the moment her heart stops and Darth Vader starts up again but his heart shorted out right around the time hers was starting to like when she's saying it's there's good in him and then later she dies just as he takes his breath.

This is my first time watching you. Great video! Have you not seen the original trilogy? Yes Episode 4: A New Hope is next. BUT You should definitely watch Rogue One. It's fantastic and leads right into episode 4 A New Hope. You didnt mention it, but, Padme gives birth, then dies and has the funeral. Did you notice that during the funeral she appeared to still be pregnant??? Thats NOT a mistake and gets touched on in episode 6: Return of the Jedi. I have to watch your other vids now. Great job!

Darth Vader not took easily Padmé's death, it would follow him for rest if his life And in canonical comix right after "NOOO" scene, Vader immediately trying to smash Sidious of the wall with a force push in his anger and frustration, but Sidious strike him with a force lighting and stop his new apprentice, after that he told to Vader that he needed to create his Sith lightsaber and he needed to learn much about dark side and Sith's ways especially So Vader didn't choose to stay under Sidious command after Padmé death, as he told to Luke in 6th episode "You don't know the power of the Dark Side, I must obey my muster" And this is pretty much the Sith way, apprentice always hate his muster and trying to obtain as much knowledge and skills as possible to overthrow him and take his place as master

Also recommend to watch the clone wars series as it leads up to an includes other characters that affects anakin. It really depens the view that anakin has of the council and also shows other wars on other planets and other plots by the chancellor and how he manipulates the war and people around him. Towards the end of the series, you get to see parts of this movie from other perspectives
