SM-33 says "Can't say I remember no At Attin" twice now during the first few episodes. It seems clear to some of us that he knows Att Attin (after all he crash landed on it) but he just "can't say" he remembers it.

I love this show so much, this really feels like the best of Lucas & Spielberg on full display! Most straightforward fun I've had with SW since 2015 & so glad to see you're digging it too! Also was that the voice of Alfred Molina when Jod was recovering SM-33? I think it was...

The first 3 episodes did a fantastic job of setting the context, introducing intriguing characters( Jack, SM33, the supervisor ?), and laying out some mysteries about their planet ( may be the central bank to produce/store the credits of the old republic??? ). Now, with the adventure about to begin, we have 5 more episodes to make it truly epic! 🤞🏼

more fun, more adventure, and even more mystery!! I believe Jod is force sensitive and has some knowledge of the force The owl friend is cool, and KB was shining in this episode! and I wonder who this is supervisor of At-Attin is? and what is up with that world? Clearly it was been isolated for quite for some time, but for how long though? p.s. the alien Jod talks while rescuing SM-33 was voiced by Alfred Molina, aka doc rock and was in the first Indiana jones movie!! you can find proof in the credits!! ^_^ Hope you are well, my friend ^_^

Alfred Molina, no way!!! What a cool cameo, Doc Oc represent!!

My hypothesis is Jude Law's character is the younglin that talked to Anakin during Order 66. He survived because he addressed Anakin as "Master". 😅

The setup for Jude's character seems pretty clear. Early 20's Jedi Knight survives Order 66, escapes to Hutt Space and becomes a Pirate. Kanan was a 15 year old Padawan that became a Bounty Hunter and Smuggler.

You've gotta love how in the Star Wars galaxy atmospheres are apparently meaningless since apparently they can breath and fly in space lol.

Great reaction. BTW, I think the word you were looking for is astrogation, a common term in Star Wars. It's a contraction of astronomical navigation.

How much do you guys wanna bet Fern’s mom is one of the main villains of the show? Either that or she’s hiding a big secret

I really can’t tell whether she’s in on it or not 👀 I feel like she’s gotta know SOME things since she seems to play such a major role in the propaganda / brainwashing the kids to abide by societal roles, but I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she’s maybe oblivious to whatever the larger truth of the planet is
@YodatheHobbitАй бұрын
Well, there were many Clone Wars references, that's the reason. Lack of knowledge of The Empire by the kids, and possibly all At Attens. Also the reminder that there are MANY MANY planets is something we were constantly reminded about in The Clone Wars. They may have never even known The Clone Wars began.
@LeChaunceАй бұрын
I think they were isolated even before the High Republic era -- remember, they have Old Republic credits. I'm guessing the Jewel Worlds of the Old Republic were hidden to keep them safe from the Sith Empire. Like, At Attin's been hidden for millennia.

5:53 The battle droids said the same thing in The Bad Batch Season 1 Episode 6 when Tech used the Tactical Droid's head to give them orders. 9:12 Is it? Because Obi-Wan was constantly telling Anakin off for being too attached to droids.

Owls and archives is just one of those things that just works🦉 Love the character already. Crimson Jack was an expanded universe character that is now brought into canon on screen.

Crimson Jack was killed by Han Solo in Marvel Star Wars issue 15 in 1978. Disney brought him back on 2 February 2022 in Star Wars Halcyon Legacy miniseries.

Jod was probably a youngling in the jedi temple and only had some basic lessons when order 66 happened I think he's gonna have an arc similar to Han Solo also At Attin was hidden during The Old Republic which was thousands of years ago so sorry Tom Dooku wasn't behind this

I don't really think he is/was a Jedi because I think he has been responsible for the deaths of many AND he ordered the captain of the ship from the intro to be thrown out the airlock. That's pretty bad. I'm not saying Jedi don't ever go bad (Anakin) he just seems like a low life (similar to Han Solo) who is in desperate need for a good ole' fashion Star Wars redemption arc. And I'm here for it.
@baron775528 күн бұрын
It is unlikely you would have learned of Astrogation in school, but you have watched an awful lot of Star Wars to have not heard the term.

The littlest things take me out of this show. Like the dad wearing modern glasses lol i believe he is only the second person in the SWU that *I* know of to be seen with glasses (not goggles) besides dr. Pershing. And im talking about on screen

I also thought it would be Carson Teva, given that in the past, he's been on all the major X-Wing patrols. I suspect he'll at least get a report about this.

This is MY opinion, kind of outside the show. But I believe Jedi dont have a moral compass. Perhaps their compass benefits them. Example, they take younglings, against theirs and their family's wishes because they exhibit talents and test well for abilities. They restrict the force, yet the council has used powers beyond what is taught, they mask control with peace, and oppress any others who would go outside their compass. Order 66 was a necessary. Lol. Im pro-sith. Also this show is great!! Lol
@CatherineLaSalleАй бұрын
Honestly fair take! A lot of what the Jedi do kind of revolves around their own ideas of right and wrong, they blind themselves to other ideas. It really hit me when I read Dark Disciple, the Jedi have some very poor decision making 😂 they often do what only serves them, so I agree with your take here!
