I can't believe I have to say this, but: being able to use the Force does NOT automatically make you a Jedi or a Sith. Not only are there many other groups that also use the Force, like the Nightsisters, but there are also plenty of Force-sensitive people who, well, just never joined any of those groups. That's who I think Jude Law's character is: He's not a Jedi or a Sith, just a guy who's Force-sensitive. He wasn't trained, he just used the most basic tricks for his criminal exploits.
