As long as Carrie Fisher's family consented to it, then there wouldn't really be a problem with that. They did very well with Tarkin in Rogue One, so I highly doubt they'd fuck up with Leia.

I mean, just comparing CGI Tarkin to the Last Jedi for example, the backlash for TLJ was significantly higher despite them still being a minority in the Star Wars fandom. So, with that in mind, I think it's safe to say that the people who really dislike CGI Tarkin is just a very small but vocal minority.

This is such a minor thing, but it kinda bugs me so I'm going to just say it. Reys outfit in the Force Awakens was supposed to represent that naivety and youth of a young girl alone in jakku by the white and childlike hairstyle. In the Last Jedi, she is moving into adolescence and maturing, as shown by her new grey outfit and hair out. So in The Rise Of Skywalker, her outfit is either supposed to be the same as TLJ or improve upon it, not go back to TFA, because that basically shows how Rey hasn't change through the trilogy. She hasn't grown as a character and is essentially a naive child. Daisy seems genuinely into this outfit, and there's nothing wrong with that, the issue I have is with costume department and JJ Abrams who clearly didn't watch TLJ and see the growth Rey had and decided to go back to TFA outfit because honesty the only reason i can come up with is being butthurt over TLJ.

Why is it so hard to understand Ben deserves a character arc, and redemption too. He will be the Skywalker that will rise. The whole Skywalker saga. Is about light, and dark, and balance. Forgiveness. Love. And epic battles in space. And that's what Ben being redeemed by love for Rey or even FRIENDSHIP with Rey does.
