Great reaction, we definitely only have Osha’s perspective and we’ll most likely get Mae’s soon based off the episode title scheming

Thanks, Kevin! 🌑 I'm loving the new Force coven. And, agreed, I bet we've only seen about 1/3 of the flashbacks.

Is Spice Cream a Kessel delicacy? I need answers. Nice to have you back. The word you seek is tempering. It's interesting how we are suspicious of and supportive of both groups at different times, the latter primarily due to Sol and Aniseya. Mae burned the book, but I'm not convinced she set the structure on fire. How did they all die with no significant rubble? How did Torbin get injured? This episode is the definition of "from a certain point of view".
@KevinReactsTV6 ай бұрын
You're asking the real important questions! Thank you, couldn't come up with tempering. I hope Sol didn't have anything to do with it. I don't think he did, but this show could go so many different ways which is one of the coolest things about it.

The show is so bad. Everything about this show is ridiculous. Fire igniting concrete somehow and fire in space is also a concept that is impossible. The whole show is about a child having a temper tantrum for what she did to her own people. It’s insanity. The acting and writing is atrocious.
@Mike-pb4cd7 ай бұрын
Just adding my own personal takes on this... Most space explosions end in a fireball throughout the entire series. The Super Star Destroyer bridge in ROTJ is literally a tower of flames from the moment it gets hit until it crashes (not to mention the fiery explosions that follow). And there are plenty of shots of ships being hit and temporarily emitting flames throughout most space battles. As for the concrete structure burning, it's a very dimly lit shot so it's hard to see, but there is plenty of wood grain textures on the walls and the door frame itself looks to be wood, so I don't think everything is intended to be stone or concrete, but I agree the dark lighting makes it look that way. "The whole show is about a child having a temper tantrum for what she did to her own people. It’s insanity. The acting and writing is atrocious." I would call this a subjective generalization. And I think you are assuming that Mae's fire caused the rest of the damage and killed the witches? I think we will soon find out that something else happened between the Jedi and the witches (and maybe a 3rd party) that caused all the other fires and killed the witches. Either way, one could easily say the prequels are about a teenager having a temper tantrum over the fact that he can't control everything, and the dialogue and acting in the prequels has been notoriously criticized since their release. I'm not saying there isn't stuff in this show to criticize, there's plenty, but I think we can do better than nitpicking the consistency of physics and material science in a fantasy world, or making broad generalizations about the writing or performances of a show we're only 3 episodes into. I think the truest complaints so far have been from in-world logic (like transporting a force sensitive murder suspect on an unmanned prison ship rather than just personally escorting her back) and pacing/editing (like finding the other escaped prisoners, bringing them back to coruscant, interrogating them, and then showing up to find Osha basically right after she crashed). Performances have been...okay. Some good, some kinda meh, but not nearly as bad as *some* of the acting in Boba Fett or Obi-Wan. I'll wait until the series is over before I decide if it breaks my view of "lore," but if I'm happy with the final product by the end of the series, that usually overrides any issues I have with lore-breaking.

Its great to see someone, who likes the show. Human mind unfortunatelly works in a way, that, if someone tells you, something is bad, you treat it as such, even if it is not bad, so it is refreshing to see someone, who picks out the positives rather then the negatives. I unfortunatelly cannot make myself like this show because of the dialogues and (predictable) writing in general. I just wonder, what could have been, if they would have given the same amount of money and creative freedom to someone, who actually likes the original Star Wars and/or expanded lore from books. There are decades of mostly good writing, that are reviewed and so safe to adapt. I would also like to think, that the fans of these stories, if they would be well adapted, would like nothing more then to introduce the new generation of fans to them. The fact, that they have all of that available, they disregard it and write something original, which is worse then some of the fan fiction, is just sad and might be behind the horrible reaction to this show.

Thank you for disagreeing in a respectful manner, you're one of the few. It's a bummer that you aren't enjoying this show. Personally I've never let someone's opinion determine my interest or enjoyment of a show. Especially in this day and age of people being able to say incendiary things and get Ad revenue from it. I think that there was no winning with the most vocal/toxic. If Disney would have adapted old stories the talking point would be that they didn't do them how the "fans" wanted. Or, people would have been mad that they are just rehashing old stories and can't create anything new. Some people just want to hate for attention/money. The good thing about leaving those stories alone is that they are preserved and can be revisited anytime. I think it's smart to write new stories that move the franchise forward. Is every one going to be perfect? Of course not. But When I started watching SW, I thought we would only ever get 3 movies. Then the prequels and I loved them but thought that was the last we would get. So in my book, all Star Wars is good Star Wars and I'm happy for every new installment. If you still watch the rest of the season, I hope that it gets better and more enjoyable for you!

I don’t know if you caught Torbin’s face in the scene where Sol was comforting Osha on the ship; his face had multiple wounds. The show definitely didn’t show us everything that went down
