When posing the figure for photographs I noticed an extra swivel just above the elbow which I didnt mention in the review. Also, the shoulders have the butterfly joint too!

The picture in the Entertainment Earth link is NOTHING like the picture of yours. The picture they have shows one "fire blast" and no backpack is visible. Anyone have any ideas why this is?

Just boil helmet and a cape and reshaped them a little bit. Lots of people have done it and the result is amazing!

The Stormtrooper helmet was getting squashed in the packaging and they've done it again with Boba Fett. This is embarrassing for a big company like hasbro things like this really shouldn't be a problem.

I think it just depends on the one you got. I’ve had no problems with some figures that people consistently complain about (my mando stormtroopers and newer clones have all been perfect) and I’ve had other weird things on other figures that I’ve had heard nothing about.

I got four of the new Stormtroopers and two of them are great but the other two have very deformed helmets. I wonder what the deal is and why Hasbro hasn't fixed it. I hope this Fett helmet can be fixed with some heat otherwise I'm going to replace it altogether with a casting from a third party.

I actually like the cape formed like this I feel like the soft goods one was just flat and kind of a weird material. Idk just me but I got him today and he has good paints imo. For the price I say he’s worth it for any collector.

I wish the flamethrower effect on the left hand gauntlet is compatible with any of the 2 Jango Fett figures released by Hasbro. Jango was the one that uses the flamethrower on screen in Attack of the clones. Boba didn't in the Original trilogy Star Wars.

Boba raises his arm to use his flamethrower on Luke right before Han knocks him into the Sarlaac pit in RotJ. He just never gets the chance to actually fire it.

Great review thank you. To my surprise I found one today at Walmart and they almost are always out of Star Wars stuff. The jetpack is a pain to stay on. I may buy another one to keep unopened and the one I put on display I may super glue the jetpack on

It’s a similar sculpt to TVC, but not the same. It’s not a scaled down/up version of the same sculpt. This is evident by examining the folds and wrinkles.

Amazing looking figure! It's crazy that this figure was slated for June is already hitting. Paint apps look really good. Bummer on the warpped helmet, maybe some hot water wil help it. It blows my mind that the cape is plastic. Soft goods would have been much better. The TVC and previous ESB figures has soft goods, it just doesn't make sense.

Thanks for the review Bossk! I definitely am disappointed by the figure. The helmet doesn‘t deliver... The plastic cape is a weak choice and... I don‘t know... To me, the accessories are to thin to make it a more expensive figure. So glad they nailed the vintage collection one.

I wouldn’t mess with that helmet because that is the way they sculpted it, but TVC ROTJ Boba is the best Boba I’ve ever seen. The only thing that would make it better would have been the moving viewfinder and that rope accessory

You may already know but if you dip Helmet in hot water reshape then add to cold water is should set in new position.

I personally find it strange how the TVC figure looks better than the Black Series figure. BS, you'd think because of the size, would be a better figure because they can be a more detailed sculpt and paint apps. Not anymore! I just think these figures just look better in 3.75, but I am biased here. 😉

I don’t collect Black Series but preordered this the day it was announced, from SAF. I’m not holding my breath. It’ll arrive eventually though. It’s amazing to see that this is inferior to the 3.75 figure - how can that happen? If that helmet can’t be stretched out than it’s possible I’ll be moving it on as frankly, it looks a terrible shape from the front. Feels like I’ve been waiting for these 2 versions forever!

I have this figure on order, seeing this I am a little bit disappointed with this figure with regards to the helmet, jet pack and the twisted cape. I thought it would have been a better quality figure in that regard and will be interesting to see if yours is just a one off or other people will have the same problems.

I’m not sure what’s going on at Hasbro Pulse but none of my preorders going back several months are shipping, despite loads of figures being released by fan channel retailers. Anyone else experiencing something similar with Pulse. I have Black Series and TVC figures on preorder that have been out now for months. Hell, even Walmart is getting figures before Pulse shipments. I’m starting to worry a bit about Pulse now and potential cancellations....🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't know why everyone is so hung up on the soft goods over the sculpted plastic clothing. Frankly, I think the soft goods look horrible 90% of the time. Fabric doesn't miniaturize so it NEVER hangs correctly on the figures. I'd take a sculpted cape over a cloth cape 9 out of 10 times on most of these figures. The cloth cape on the previous Black Series Boba was terrible without some significant modification...

I’ve never understood why soft goods are more preferred to rubber? I’ve always liked the rubber better because it holds the accurate folds and look better. Soft goods often are too thick, have too big stitching, and make it look more like a toy. The rubber gives that replica-feel to the figure in a scaled version.

Great review, great figure. I just think that this figure doesn't beat Diamond Select Boba Fett from ROTJ. That's one hell of a figure, taller at 7" and more detailed than this one. You have the problem of scale with other figures there, but I think it's the best possible Boba Fett figure up to date.

I have him incoming. After seeing another review of this guy, his helmet was the same. That is really sad. Mine will have to take a hot wather bath. Maybe then I can do something about that helmet cheeks...Even my Bandai model kit's helmet looks better. :( Maybe I will also exchange that rubber cape for a cloth one. If he disappoints me a ton, I might try to put the effects onto the Bandai Boba (because I love that stuff) and try to sell of the rest. He might stay if I manage to get the helmet off his head. Then he will be really different to my other Bobas.
