Our expressions are the faces of four people who just got back to work after midnight AFTER spending 7 hours at the world premiere of Star Wars and its after party. We were all totally exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally. It was a good exhaustion, but exhaustion nonetheless.

OT Only lovers inferiority complex never ceases to amaze. Sequels are out and you're still trying to tear down the Prequels. From what I read lot of OT feel, but larger scale like the Prequels had which is all I care about. You guys and reviews I read keep talking about "issues" in the larger scheme which makes me nervous I'll admit. Well that and mention of models. Hopefully paintings for the backgrounds have stopped. Hopefully majority of us like it and its a huge box office success. Fingers crossed no death star in the next film.

+ColliderVideos First off thank you for everything that you guys and girls do every day you are one of my favorite shows on youtube your channel is amazing I have been watching since the AMC days and always enjoy everything you do. With that said all I can say to any doubters and I don't quote numbers from rotten tomatoes often as I believe people have to make their own minds up and be their own critics but a 99% out of 92 votes put that into perspective empire strikes back has a 94% out of 85 votes and from what i've seen so far as far as trailers, behind the scenes and tv spots I can't wait to see it next Wednesday. Also to anyone who spoils things on non spoiler review videos or in comment sections for any film you are idiots. Keep in mind this film is not being released in some countries until January so anyone lucky enough like myself to see it before it is fully released to the world in all cinemas don't spoil anything anyway though I will say I will watch the spoiler review after I have watched the film next week.

People just think and type away without thinking. This whole "lack of enthusiasm" or "disappointment," is ridiculous. John Campea and Kristian Harloff and everyone there live and breathe Star Wars but they gave us Movie Talk this morning. They have been up and awake ALL day long and still gave us this review/thoughts. Physically they're exhausted and, I can tell, but also emotionally. They JUST got a continuation of 30+ years of wait along with seeing everyone of their childhood dream characters. Lucas, Hans and Luke etc... It was not perfect but we've been waiting 30+ years for this movie....there's going to be high expectations! John said it feels like a "Star Wars" movie and that is something we can all agree on. Whether it measures up to the Original Trilogy is up to each person's view but a prequel movie it is not (according to these comments). THANK YOU! I commend and thank the Collider Crew for this and their efforts and dedication to us.

Well, in regards to the whole "You guys don't seem to enthusiastic" or "It seems like you guys are disappointed" ish I'm getting from some people in the comments. Come on, they did say it was 12am RIGHT AFTER this whole event that lasted for hours. Can't expect them to be in the same state as they were before/during the premiere, AND they had to be weary of what they said, in order for it to be spoiler-free just keep that in mind. This review is definitely a rain check though. Don't let your hype meter blast through the roof and keep your expectations on a neutral level. I have to wait until Saturday to see the movie, and the feeling of anticipation is just exponentially increasing.

A lot of these comments are quite ignorant! Can you guys saying "they look disappointed and deflated" just remember that these guys were awake on this day from early hours in the morning to late at night. They brought us Movie Talk on the same day, then they had to get ready a few hours prior to the premiere, then they got there; spending an hour or so walking the carpet, had to watch the movie for a couple of hours, then go to the after-party - to finally come back and bring you this 'non-spoiler' review of the movie. They are exhausted/tired and have been emotional as well after a long wait for such a movie as this, they are still probably digesting everything, which will help with a bit of rest. Nothing from this indicated that the movie is going to an absolute bust or complete disappointment like the prequels. Even if the film doesn't live up to the standard of the original trilogy I'm not going to be disappointed, because I'm not going in for a nostalgia trip, which J.J. Abrams has said countless times over. If you have expectations riding on this of that relating to the quality of the originals, then you may as well be setting yourself up to be bummed out. This is something new with an original story to contribute to STAR WARS years after Return of The Jedi, so of course there are going to be new aspects. People may or not agree with some of these new aspects of the film, but that's like most films. The Force Awakens is not going to be that perfect 10/10 by any means, but lets not jump the gun and start pointing the finger already calling out the film to be bust or a flop, especially when most of us haven't seen it, and basing an early assumption on tired people isn't exactly intelligent. If the movie was significantly bad I'm sure they would of said so, regarding everyone on the panel is so strongly emotive about STAR WARS - and we know Harloff and Campea don't usually shy away from these things and will tell us straight what they think. From what I've heard the positives definitely way out the minor negatives they scarcely mentioned. So am I worried? Not at all! I'm seeing this box office weekend, so a few days after release. Everything that has been theorized and speculated on Jedi Council I will be mindful of but won't be thinking about during the film and definitely won't be expecting all of it to be true. Nonetheless, I'm just going to go in and watch without any expectations and let the film play with my emotions to really let me know what I think about it. Once I've watched it I will then go and watch the 'spoiler review' and see what I agree and disagree on etc, depending on my views on the movie whether good or bad after really self-evaluating. Enjoy the movie guys!

You guys are blinded by nostalgia because this movie didn't feel at all like Star Wars. They copied the plot on the New Hope and then relied on nostalgia so they can grip fans like you. The comedy pissed me off because it was so quippy and felt very annoying. I hated Kylo Ren's character after he took off his helmet and it made me feel kind of laughable and it took away his danger that gripped me with the charecter at the start. The new charecters are kind of wooden in my opinion which frustrated me a lot because it felt like their acting was really forced. The score is really off because they don't use those original soundtracks which are so iconic and cement the Star Wars feeling. I also really didn't like this ending because it left us on a cliffhanger (literally) and it was so half assed. The cinematography was also frustrating because it didn't really bring back any feelings of the movies. I thought some of the inventions they try to cram in were very impractical and kind of useless. I just can't believe people like this movie it really let me down so much because they got so much wrong. How many death stars do we have to have in order to change something up! This is the third Death Star now! How can that even happen! The movie was a fucking joke and in five months everyone will realize it. I acknowledge I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this so go ahead.

I played "Project Reality" for around 6 years and can personally attest to the commitment of this team as both a community member and as a contributor. They are dedicated beyond reason and have overcome huge obstacles to get where they are now, but this current reincarnation of the sprit of Project Reality is just scratching the surface of what the experience will become. Vehicles play such an enormous part in not only the combat portion of what games like this try to accomplish, but also logistical nessecities create game balance (for example the FOB system in Project Reality makes players rely on logistics trucks and helicopter crates to build Fobs and this creates a balanced asemeticality between Blufor and Opfor teams).

Thanks guys for the review and not spoiling anything. My biggest concern for the new trilogy is that it will basically be a retelling of the first trilogy beat for beat. I want it to be a different set of movies with new barriers broken. I hope that this first one is fulfilling enough for all the hype we have all been putting on it. +Geoffrey Almashy I can see that viewpoint and I actually respect it, for that's something I do. Despite me being a diehard Star Wars fan(I love the EU), I still try my hardest to abstract that love and see the movies as films themselves. Star Wars the original trilogy, while I love, I'm not blind to its flaws. The dialogue is at times a bit jarring(if not at times charming). Scenes at times seem very rushed, especially in Episode four. And the effects, while still great, are starting to show there age. Regardless, I still love the OT. As for the Prequel Trilogy, I don't hate the PT but I acknowledge they are terrible movies. Perhaps, it helped that watched both the PT and the OT(grew up with both), so that generational divide I'd like to think isn't as apparent in my view. But I could be wrong. I will say this about the PT. They are a clear example of George Lucas' ego getting the better of him. In the OT, Lucas worked a lot on the production aspects, which was his biggest strength. This is even seen past Star Wars for what he did with ILM is nothing short of amazing. But he clearly is not good at direction and screenplay. He needed to be surrounded by others like he did in the OT. Even during Return of the Jedi, where he shoehorned in some scenes, he at least had some respect in allowing Richard Marquand do his job. Which is a real shame, because the PT had some fantastic ideas. These would help the EU tremendously. But looking at them as films and seeing the terrible the execution is, I only feel sad. The PT's could have been something grand and epic. but for the most part, they are stilted and just a bit out of place. Overall, I'm still looking forward to the Force Awakens. Usually, I'll have a better viewpoint on a film I'm looking forward to when I see it a second time. Then, I can focus more on pinpointing anything that might be out of place, given I am familiar with the story, characters etc.

As a kid growing up during The Phantom Menace I'm actually really excited that they're saying that it is better than the prequels. I acknowledge that the OT is way better that the prequels but still. I think Sith was a great movie and knowing this will be better is exciting. Can't wait, 8 more hours before I'll see it!

Jesus people, read between the lines a little. Is the movie perfect? no. What part of "JJ really delivered" and "Star Wars is back" is not good? There is no way they could build the anticipation back to a fever pitch for this review, they are mentally exhausted, but still giddy. As of this moment, I'll admit, I'm the sole dislike. The reason I disliked the video was that they gushed over the movie but the moment they wanted to talk about criticisms, they were quick to hush them over. That, doesn't feel very good to me. What I do know for sure is that it's better than the prequels (which isn't saying much as I'm pretty sure there are even some video game movies out there better than the prequels) but maybe or maybe not better than the originals. I don't know, this review didn't sell me on watching the movie as much as the Shmoes one that at least had scores and could be like, "Okay, 4.5/5 ... that's really good! I can let myself be excited now!" Appreciate the video though.

To all those who think they look disappointed, underwhelmed or unenthusiastic... Just wait until Friday's spoiler review when A) They've gotten some sleep; and B) They're able to talk about the movie in detail rather than having to choose their words carefully so as not to spoil anything. My guess is that you won't come away from that video thinking that they seem disappointed, underwhelmed or unenthusiastic about the movie. If they came away from the movie actually feeling any of those things, they would have said so. They're not gonna BS you about a movie if they didn't like it or didn't like it as much as they thought they would, especially when it comes to Star Wars. You'd know from the words coming out of their mouths if they were disappointed, underwhelmed or unenthusiastic about the movie. I get to see the movie on Thursday night and I came away from this video even more excited for the movie than I was beforehand.

Saw the movie today, won't spoil much but Kylo Ren sucks and Rey kicks ass ! The plot is really similar to A New Hope in many ways but I didn't mind. It was a great mix of old classic Star Wars moments, references and new fresh characters and technology. Much better than the prequels in my opinion. I was surprised though to see so much of Han Solo and quite a lot of Leia as well. The best part of all this was still the atmosphere in a packed theater, everybody cheering and applauding during the intro and when Han appeared. A guy even screamed "May the Force be with us !" right before the movie began haha The last time I experienced such an excited crowd at a cinema was actually for the last Star Wars in 2005 ^^ (Also, BB-8 is the cutest thing ever!)
