Star Wars has been part of my entire life. My grandparents loved it and we used to watch the OG trilogy all the time together. They brought me to the store to pick out the toys. Now, I'm 31 turning 32 and my grandparents have passed away. This franchise means alot to me and has helped me through the darkest of times. Through depression and loss of friends, family and career changes. I am excited to see how ep. 9 wraps up the Skywalker saga and even more excited to see the future of Star Wars. Esp. after watching the Mandalorian and playing Jedi Fallen Order!

It makes me happy seeing people like you share how important how Star Wars is and I can easily relate, I've been watching the OGs since I was a child and also the prequels were released by then. When I was running around the yard with a green painted stick and dressed like Luke and I was making saber sounds. To now as an adult and I find the philosophies of the Jedi and the Sith help me discover who I am as a person. Who's just trying to make my way in the world. Star Wars has been with me all my life. Saw the first one in the theatre as a very very small boy, and each time a new movie was announced I was just excited with anticipation. And this has never changed. Sure, some things could've been handled better and some movies are better or worse but every minute I am allowed to transport myself into this universe, I am just plain happy. I have no other way to express this. Star Wars had been a part of me for so long, that seeing a featurette like this one just brings tears to my eyes. Tears of joy, tears of memories, tears of things that have gone by and tears knowing the story will end. God how much I will love taking my oldest daughter to the premiere here in Belgium on dec 18th and seeing that twinkle in her 15 yr old eyes like I had when I was her age. She kinda grew up with The Force Awakens and the following movies, and is now experiencing this whole universe. Marvel to see.
