in 2014, Protoss players have won virtually every tournament: IEM Sao Paolo, Asus ROG Winter, IEM Cologne, the IEM World Championships, and most importantly the GSL Season 1 in South Korea, a tournament where five out of the top eight competitors played Protoss. terran can't go mech bio is only choice, when you know what your opponent is going to do vs a terran who knows protoss can do dozens of different things? protoss is op that's why they nerfing immortals to make mech more suitable.

Which is actually one of the more refreshing things about SC2. I prefer this unpredictability, and the aggressive games instead of the long macro games. Give me highly aggressive strategies.

I don't understand what's the point of pulling half your SCVs unless you're already loosing, it just lets your opponent pick the terms of engagement which is only makes the fight harder.

kira scans cost comand center energy, that energy is also used for MULES wich gather minerals faster than normal scv's, so most terrans prefer to use that energy on mules

Why is the clock going so fast?

It goes faster than your wristwatch because the game is played on "faster" mode. which is for some reason the default mode to play on. if it were played on "normal" mode the clock would be more synchronized with a wall clock, but the game would feel agonizingly slow. I still find it odd that "faster" is the regular mode to play. If everyone plays on that mode, why not make it "normal"? Edit: The current (June 2015) plan for Legacy of the Void is to make the game time for ladder games match real time. Good I say.

You know when protoss is going to do something just by scouting their gas income. Double gas at 15 supply? Then expect a stargate or Twilight. Have marines ready in your mineral lines, a turret in each mineral line never hurts. If you are sure it is a stargate, then I would make even 2 turrets per mineral line so your gas mining scv's are safe (even with 1 turret, an good controlled oracle can get 3-4 or more scv's so that's the cost of 2 turrets anyway). A well placed widowmine near your mineral line one shot's an oracle before it can do any damage. And there is no way a protoss will spot a burrowed widowmine before it's to late. Save energy on command centers for at least 2 scans untill you know what's coming, in case of dt's. It's the same for protoss to defend against widow mines / helion drop harras.
