It played out like Eschaeton had never had a game where he had to macro. At all. Probably he had seen the PFR and tried it out against easy AI, and it worked, so he "perfected" it and took it against online players. He didn't understand how inefficient long-range mining is, how much more more you need minerals than gas, or anything about macro. Just, "build a planetary outside their main, build a few tanks, win."

lways make workes, and build units as p/t, or learn a timing attack. Use keyboard, use F2 key, though that is really bad by time you reach gold and should never use the key again. As z, learn when to stop making workers and make army and what army, if you fail by 30 sec you lose the game if you dont z is imba.

Honestly, most of the time all you need to do to get out of Bronze League is know how to use hotkeys, attack, and have a detector. Silver requires better timing and hard counters. (Usually) Gold requires a little bit of micro and timing attacks. (Usually) Gold is the highest I've ever gotten so I can't give any tips beyond that :P

When that command center was landing next to that expansion I thought "What he's waiting for...wait he doesn't want to build a second planetary fortress?" And after realizing that I thought "okay Boi that's your plan but..what are you waiting for" and lowko showed the rebuilding of the engineering bay and I realized that the Upgrades of that building have been missing to build it. OMG even the Time he waited for that Tec to come back he could do so much better stuff like training bio units or building a natural or even scouting around would be better then just sit there and wait (and watch) for that progress bar to go up 😂

I'm so glad he pulled a win against that cheese. It was a hilariously bold move to make. Players of all skill levels can be a lot of fun to watch. I think casts like this give confidence to players that might be apprehensive about trying out the ladders, and that's a good thing. More players in the scene, creates more space for new Casters and coverage, which means more SC to watch for every fan.

imo the real problem with SC remains that ''armored'' units are usually the ones that get countered by most core units. Light units actually feel more tanky than armored units as almost all core units deal extra damage against armor (marauders, tanks, stalkers, etc)

Before one of the major LoTV patches, I had to work so hard to get to plat and remain near the top, like stopping for more than a week would hinder my ability so much that I can't reach diamond without coninuesly playing for a month. Being 16 and at college this was hard to do. But then I stopped for a few months and then started again after some more patches dropped. And wow. The skill level for each league had dropped massively, so much that I got to diamond no problem after being rusty from not playing for months, this just shows so much that gold now a days are only high bronze/low silver from back then

During the beta for SC2, I was 225-74 in 1v1 - (yes the standings were reset at least twice, I was about 75-25 1v1 through the whole beta. Nobody built towers and cloaked banshees were available at like 7 minutes lol. Now I suck but that was fun

I have a game that is kinda like this but crazier, was a Bronze/Silver game and i trolled around a bit and only made buildings (mainly Planetary Fortress and Missile Turrets) and SCV's. No Combat Units whatsoever. It was hilarious as hell and i actually won. If i ever get around to it, i'm gonna submit that one, hopefully you can get a good laugh out of it.
