A new Mutator has been added to StarCraft 2. In this video I complete the "Of One Mind" Mutation Mission on the Brutal difficulty in SC2. It features Boom Bots, Polarity and Sharing is Caring as the Mutators.

I think that if Lowko could have used Scourge Queen, he would, but since he plays so little co-op anymore (since there is little value for him presaging his commanders), he couldn't. In essence, at this point Lowko only plays co-op if other people tell him that there is new content worth showing off (here, Boom Bots and Sharing is Caring together). It also means that he isn't as used to the co-op meta as he used to be (and that has been the case since Stetmann was released).

That boombot that ctg paused the game for and that destroyed his own nexus, the code was actually given by lowko earlier on in the match but ctg wasnt paying attention. So technically that was ctg's fault. Just sayin.

I love that CTG is in the Philippines. I actually learned modern Anis which is the Filipino art is quarter stick fighting. My instructor learned it from Professor Remy Presas who is very well known in the Pilippines and across the world. I actually have his book. I watched a video with CTG playing Stetson and wow he was so fast at spreading the Stet zones around and showing us how to maximize in several ways this character.

Another tricky with this mutation is how the Sharing is Caring Mutator affects between commanders with 100 supply and 200 supply. Basically, the 100 supply commander should produce units first and capped at 100 before the 200 supply commander produce units from 101 to 200 supply. But this is risky if both commanders depends on mass units so you can just produce less workers to free up supply. Unless you have powerful hero type unit, you can just hero solo and let your ally take up the supply. Just like how CtG did with only Zeratul and Lowko took all 100 supply. Sorry for the long comment. XD

Hey, those drones can be used for static defense. Weird trick with Zag, since it feels weird to make queens with her and I don't know if this works out of co-op since I never see it in multi-player, you can use a dropper lord with a queen to put a creep tumor anywhere on the map and then drop drones to make static w/o having to spend too much attention on creep spread. Useful for polarity since you can backup cannons at ally's base.

This one was a bit hard, it took me a few times to complete it in brutal with Karax and Stetman. Not as many tries as the invisible, ultra fast replicators, though. Still, I love seeing these coop videos!

It's funny how when CtG asks Lowko whether he can build probes yet trying to considerate of Lowko since if CtG just builds workers, he would cause Lowko to be supply blocked early in the game due to sharing supply and Lowko is like "Co-op macro is so weird, not making workers right away", so says the zerg player that didn't make queens

To be fair, experienced co-op players do see queens as situational at best. They are better now since the prestiges (since both Kerrigan and Zagara got queen buffs), but it does seem that macro hatcheries are still better most of the time in co-op.

@@BladeWinters Indeed. If the quote was taken out of context, it would make him rockslappingly bad with P3 Raynor (where orbital before workers appears to be the orthodox opening). The co-op metagame has changed so much since Lowko stopped covering co-op regularly; it makes it so that Lowko has to look like he's holding his own even though he's being carried (or coached beforehand) in the newer videos. (Which isn't a bad thing when you are merely showing off the new features, mind you.)

Lowko has shown his skills in co-op in the past, having cleared some of the hardest weekly mutations before ever collaborating with CtG, and doing some advanced builds, solos, and even meme builds before. So he was good in the past - it's just that co-op has evolved since then, and what was good then isn't good enough today, and so you could say that he is "bad" from that point of view. Fortunately, for the purposes of showing off new content, he doesn't need to be a good co-op player, and that's fine; it's just that the bar has been greatly lowered since the past. (In other words, he used to be a co-op player, but not anymore.) After all, he does make a point that co-op macro would kind of weird to a ladder player, whether it be inherent or because of the mutation.

Interesting fact: Boombots has almost the same AI as propagators, which means killing your spawning base also works for propagators. Although I'm not sure this is a good approach since Sharing is Caring delays your macro and the first attack wave on this map comes so early(2:20 in the game) Interesting fact 2: the sequence of the shards you can attack is fixed, decided by your spawning locations. At last two players would have to kill 4 or 6 shards. And at last another tricky way of doing this brutation is p3 Nova and Swann.

I wonder how well it would work to just fly the command center to an unreachable corner so they just walk to the wall. Like the Southeast corner maybe since you don't necessarily have to go there. So instead of making them stop moving they move away from the fight entirely. They are just ground units. So they should just treadmill the edge trying to get to it. Maybe a Tychus/Nova setup where you both fly off at the earliest chance and don't use a lot of supply. You'd have to rebuild Ghost Acad and Joey Ray's at the expos or something.

The boom bot cheese has been known for some time, even before boom bots were released. There is a video of Ancalagon (the co-op resident master of meme builds) using this cheese against propagators, where his ally floated off his starting CC over unpathable terrain to cause the propagators to stop moving.

Yes, but it's the first time Lowko has covered it, so it is new to him. Lowko doesn't keep up with the co-op scene ever since Stetmann was released (I'd like to think ever since CtG showed him the Zeratul poop bug, which was the last time he covered weekly mutations regularly), and the 5.0.0 patch note video where he kind of glossed over the co-op changes (to be fair, there were a lot) kind of shows that he is kind of bored with co-op and will only do co-op videos when people tell him that there is something new or especially difficult. (Hence, why Lowko didn't show off Boom Bots in a custom when 5.0.0 was released, or in the first weekly mutation that had it.)

Some keyboards don't have numpads seperately to save space and either he also doesn't has an integrated one (like many laptop keaboards do) or he doesn't has one at all

Yeah you definitely are solo pve content is the last thing they are planning on. They made that clear after nova covert ops flopped
