@@tholos2758 Thats a BAD strategy. Zerg could have 1-3 or 10 drones all over the map ready to build extractors the moment that one is in danger. You dont do it before its absolutely necessary to keep it secret and safe. Flying to it was the way

The Zerg was broke and the 8 or so unupgraded corruptors would have taken 10-20 seconds to kill the star port whereas a mass tactical jump with 8 or so well upgraded BCs would have killed the extractor in 2 seconds

@@thecheckeredfish_5225 Oh absolutely, but even if you're playing scared and/or you assume the opponent has a random pocket of extra anti-air that you haven't seen: Step 1) I'm scared of losing, must bunch up BCs around my starport Step 2) I have to kill my opponent's last structure and I know where it is Step 3) Oh I can do both ...but this guy never got past step 1.

That "Fire truck" comment reminded me of how when we were children (10-12 years old) in Starcraft 1 era me and my friends used to call the flamethrower guys "Firemen". Brings back memories. This in turn reminded me of one of Pratchett's books, where an idea of paying people to put out fires was called an insanely stupid one, becausse then their incentive would be to make fires that they can then put out.

I just noticed that at the end, he only sent one BC, because he was sending BCs everywhere around the map. Bottom left, Upper right corner, than other location too. He didn't realize that at this point, the enemy should have been revealed. So he was searching more places still.

If you try to follow a build order you'll move out of Bronze league in a couple games. It's really hard to stay in Bronze league.

Wow. I'm bad at this game, but watching this replay makes me feel so much better. I'm the guy who would blind-jump that first Battlecruiser across the map, find my opponent has 8 Queens and a 4 Spore Crawlers, lose the BC, and go on to lose the game. Except in this case that blind jump would have won outright.

Having 5 bases with 44 drones, none of which are mining at the gold base, is such a bold strategy. He also had 2000 minerals and no gas, and so really had no reason to not fully saturate those bases.
