I was never a Terran main, but you should use your first SCV to get more information. Specifically, your looking at how many gas and if he's rushing any tech. If he doesn't take any gas you know he's planning on committing to a marine rush (cheese) while if he took one he plans on playing a fairly standard game of 1 expand into a reaper. Alternatively, if he takes 2 gases then he's likely trying some kind of tech cheese with BCs or something of the sort. That frees up your energy for mules instead of scans. Since you killed 3 of his scvs with your reaper, if you used that energy for mules you would have been significantly ahead in resources and then could have forced the rine/rauder/medivac rush and won early with more resources. Honestly, you won twice and I'm 8 minutes in, you need to be more confident in moving forward. Second game, scout more, you left before he finished his gateway, stick around til his cybernetics core finishes so you get information. You would have seen him take a second gas to prep for the robo bay, that would have given you the information to mass marine and rush him. Rushing robo typically leaves you open to a rine rush. Also, if your going to play terran bioball, you need to learn to stutter step and split your rines. You will get a lot more use out of them if you do. You are building to much at once, don't spam 4-5 units in one building. You should have only the production your economy can keep up with. Having things qued it just resources that are not being used. queue 1 then make more barracks or ccs or tech. Its a really bad habit that will lose you games at higher ELO. The second game you had nearly 8 marines building, but with 6 of them gone would have had 2 more barracks and 2 more marines building. Just a little advice =), good content though, fun watching new players again, been ages since I got to watch someone learn the game! Good luck climbing!

that scan energy in start of game one should be used on a mule that scan sets you back economically quite a bit
@tabtargetАй бұрын
Yeah I’ve started to notice that orbital energy is very important

Howdy partner. Zerg player here. High Silver low gold and I was wondering if you would be up for some games this weekend and if you were NA? Could use a sparring partner and I figure I could help you out with Terran a bit as I have mained all 3 for about 5 years each and I figure it would be good practice for you
@tabtargetАй бұрын
I do play on NA. I would be down at some point next month? Right now grinding out the new EFT wipe until max traders then I'll be jumping back on to some SC2.
