Starcraft 2 opening cinematic reaction! | "Heart of the Swarm" & "Legacy of the void"

Why is there not a Starcraft movie already?! These cinematics look amazing and I am really interested to learn more of the lore behind them.

I hope you'll also check out the STarcraft 2 Cinematic (not sure if that's the correct term in this case) "Reclamation". It shows the perspective of the Protoss a single day before the Legacy of the Void Opening Cinematic and explores their history and motives really well.

Definitely check out the full in game cutscenes. The lore and characters are really good. I think the movie versions are the correct ones with some gameplay where interactions between characters aren’t skipped or cut out.

based on what you said after watching the Heart Of the Swarm opening cinematic it sounds like you never played the campaigns from the original StarCraft and Brood War Expansion. If you did you would understand who she is. Essentially StarCraft 2 completes the story that started with the original game.

Yeah I never played the campaigns. I always just booted up a random map and tried not to lose for as long as I could haha.

Just a bit of info on the cinematics that relates to the game: Heart of the swarm 1. Nydus Worm - the giant worm that popped from the ground earlier, can turn the tide of the war if opponent is super turtle/defensive, basically a biobased-wormhole for army transportation 2. Zerg is only annnoying at the beginning because you need a lot of economy, but once U pass that, its "SWARM after SWARM" no ending overwhelming any opponent. Legacy of the Void 1. Pylon is the floating crystal also used as supply depot but the same time enables a warping destination for the protoss. Imagine all the possibilies things U can of Warping on Startrek but limited to Pylons for a fair game balance :) 2. Legacy of th void Cinematics is basically doing Proxy-Gate on your opponent to win early on LOL

Love your reaction! It’s always a treat for me whenever a youtuber who at least knows some info/lore about the game reacts to SC2 cinematic. I would definitely love to watch your reaction on all SC2 in-game cutscenes. Just a side note, if you ever decide to react to the all in-game cutscenes, I highly recommend those compilations that also include in-game dialogues. It helps you to fill the lore gaps between cutscenes, adds more depth to the story and overall will make your journey a much more enjoyable one.
