Jinxed Master The return of the UED and the balance of the three races will be over Zegara is evil and i know it the only reason that she stayed quiet was Kerrigan and now she controls the swarm and she hungers for more power. Then we have Alarak that maybe will be the rival for Zegara since he consideres the zerg inferior and pathetic.In the terran side we have Valerian that will be attacked by Tosh and his spectres cuz Tosh belives that everyone will be like Mengsk thats the reason why he was gone in the last expansion he was preparing for his future war against the new dominion. Last we have Artanis that will defend Aiur against the UED or other evil race that shows up. Well thats pretty much it. I see much potencial in the future starcraft 3 more stories and some stories re not finished for example what happened with Dr. Handson she finally found the cure for the zerg virus or she was laying all the time like Tosh said then we have the characters from the novels that never got introduced in any game.

I feel that 6:20 to 7:09 really summarizes the Terran vibe. A courageous and resilient race that, although lacking the evolutionary capacities of the Zerg or the technology and psionic powers of the Protoss, still managed to survive and become one of the dominant species of the galaxy. Just a bunch of human exiles who crash-landed in a hostile corner of the galaxy but somehow through sheer resilience and ingenuity survived at whatever the universe threw at them.

I was such a huge fan of the original and Brood War terran music. All of the years that I played Brood War, one of the things that stuck with me most was the music. I was reluctant to try SC2, because my life had changed (family/kids) significantly and I was afraid that I would be too biased towards the original... But, wow, I have to say, I feel as though the producers of the game (and particularly the composers) have aged right alongside of me. I was so pleasantly relieved to hear the wonderful music. And the HOTS terran music is great as well. Kudos to you terran music composers, you have warmed a BW lover's heart....well done!

But there's one thing the SC1 Terran themes had that this one is missing: the futuristic sound. This SC2 track is great as a standard rock and roll background music, but it just doesn't have the same atmosphere/instrumentation that gives off a feeling of being in space fighting aliens in the future.

Props to blizzard for not ignoring the music portion in their game, despite it being an RTS, they still realize the importance of good music!

The first theme is just a really great piece of music. It combines three different elements of texture to the game. First, there's the Americana theme (using the acoustic guitar, dobro, fiddle and organic instruments). This solidifies the human aspect of the characters. There's also the heavy-metal theme to add tension and power for the video game, and lastly the science fiction texture with the orchestra and sound-effects. Very clever production.

@OriginMSD Very much agreed. Starcraft is a chronicle video game for Blizzard along with Diablo. Those two titles are probably the least noticed, but they have the greatest content. Starcraft had such a great story to it too and the soundtrack was just so damn epic, this track is a great example. I remember the days where I would just play SC1 for about 8 hours straight. Being like 7 years old and playing til Midnight, those were some great days.
