You can actually make the Sandman decent by using a glitch. Hitting the ball doesn't reroll for random crits, so if your last melee swing was a random crit, the ball will also crit.

Sandman is amazing. It has a ranged alt-fire like the wrap assassin without any damage penalty and the damage is instant and can even bounce around before hitting (like in meet the demoman). The lack of a damage penalty also makes it do more damage than the atomizer both per hit and in the tauntkill. Not only this but it removes demomans charge for the duration of the slow. You get all of this at the cost of some health. But who needs health when you're the fastest man alive? You're not getting hit anyways.

Honestly for me it was ll just taking references and inspiration and always thinking, how could I replicate that? How do I do that effect? What tools anmd techniques did they use?. I would sometimes watch parts of a video frame by frame to watch how the effect was done and such. At the end of the day it's all about practising and practising. Once you managed to master how to do a certain edit or effect, put your own twist onto it, perhaps you can better improve upon it. Be creative with it. You got this!

The infinite crit glitch is an easy 50 free damage to anyone slightly out of scattergun distance. Still rather use the pistol at that distance but, it helps.
