Starfield Blaster Assembly with Bill and Norm

Tested's Norm Chan was in town, so Bill sat down with him for some good old fashioned space blaster assembly goodness. We 3D printed the Eon from Starfield on our new Prusa Mk4 printer and had a bunch of fun putting it all together.

You can accomplish so much if you have one of each type of machine.

Excellent demo. For tape clamping I use 88 electrical tape. It comes it 3/4 snd 1 1/2” and is excellent to give a little stretch. If it a long length of tape end it with an unstretched length.

The Rattler always looks bigger than expected in the hand. In game when you see it in the inventory I always imagine it as a tiny hand gun like an old ladies boot gun from the wild west, and then it's huge. Totally a me thing. Great work on these though.

How would you finish such a gun to get rid of the layers? I have a Star Trek movie combat phaser I want to finish but I don't know how I should go about on getting a nice finish.

You can spray the whole thing with filler primer and then just do a bunch of sanding till the layer lines are gone.
