Once people got tired of criticizing the gameplay, discussion around the game died out immediately. It wasn't even that interesting to hate on it. @@oldylad We see that the game does have auto-saves later in the video (as if any modern game wouldn't), the tone of their voices really obviously changes when they're pretending to be mad, and if you look closely you can actually see the footage of them "restarting" the game actually just seems to be the same footage from the first time they started the game (the camera moves in the exact same way both times). It was a bit, bro. Sorry to ruin the joke for you but it was obviously faked.

It's like the Fallout 4 quest where a ghoul kid is trapped in a fridge that is 30 meters away from his parent's home but in hundreds of years nobody thought to look for him or apparently go more than 5 meters outside the house. Classic Emil Pagliarulo setup and writing.

Unless they and I blatantly missed something, you can't convince me these space games aren't made solely to showboat technical capabilities, which is ironic when it doesn't run well either. Holding boost while a circle gets bigger by a square millimeter an hour is objectively not fun. It's like the space version of that game AVGN reviewed that simuletes driving through an empty desert. You need to add a bunch of man made sci fi stuff between, make a battle system more complex than shoot and don't get shot, or you need to not make traversal a big thing cause space is so boring through that lens
