Starfield Spacer Overhaul Paid Mod is It Worth It?

I think this is a good poster child for paid mods as a system. A mod author who makes a ton of high quality free mods, and releases a premium options for those who want to directly support them. More of this, less healthy Beowulfs

This mod was most definitely worth it imo, and the mod author has an entire catalogue of mods that have made the game that much more interesting, so when I saw this I was happy to support them

One of a few mods which deserve to pay for. Item names might need to be improved, but as humble modder myself, it is sometimes to name items especially when there are several similar types. If I were Zone79, I might do the same... THX for the review.

All of this guys mods are, the ones I’ve downloaded at least, are phenomenal. Love the mantis replacer, the nomad. His ecliptic replacer is by far my favorite. Then his clothing mods, that Crimx pirate mod is outstanding.

I love this mod. After 2 weeks I was still discovering new pieces. Not counting the 1000 creation points that came with the premium upgrade, I actually paid for this and it was well worth the price. Honestly, I don’t like any of the faction suits, luckily, there were free replacement suits for the Ecliptic and Va’Ruun that looked much better.

Another quality mod review. These always help me decide if a mod is worth downloading. Paid or not. I'd like to see you do a review of the Heartbreaker Series Weapon at some point. That one looks interesting. But it's not clear from the descriptions exactly what it is. Stats. Etc. Keep up the good work CF.

I’ve held onto my 1000 credits since the opening of the Creations Store for quite a while now. But this mod as a paid mod was one I spent some of that credit on and including the Waterfall area Apartment. Before I bought the mod I was already in a mission POI dungeon. Bought and loaded mod. The 2nd enemy was a Spacer. Had no issues with the mod.

Zone79 mods are awesome... I use coretech spacesuit for my character and that's perfect for a female fitting. I've had some problems with some of those like ecliptic which have messed some textures loading but I think the problem was the loading order or I've missed the update... anyway I think zone79 should be hired from bethesda and all his outfit mods should be added officially into the game. He deserves it.

Worth noting those antennae eye things on the helmets light up when you turn your flashlight on. Pretty cool.

It definitely adds a lot of flavor to the game. This makes the Starjacker mission way more fun. I have a bunch of Zone 79's free stuff and for me it was worth buying and supporting a great mod author.

I agree with NightshadDE. I liked this mod, but didn't need it. However I use most of Zone79's other free mods and was happy to directly support them in Creation Club to give them a bit of $ and a boost to their profile. As with most of their mods, this is just how the spacers should have looked in the first place. Crazy, scary, slapped together stuff. It goes well with the spacer characters' facial tattoos and overall vibe. Well done Zone79!

I've been on the fence over this, as 500 CP is full quest level, and the limited number of screenshots does not give a good impression for the amount of content within. Thanks for the video. It helps show us all what we pay for. If I were to advise the mod author any, it would be to to a) improve the naming so it is more clear and b) to add some lineup photos to the description so we can get a better idea of what it is that is included. Overall, if this were 300, I would have already pulled the trigger based on what we saw in the CC description. 500 hits the "I want to be sure of what I am getting" level for me, and adding those lineup photos would definitely make me, and likely more people, be willing to pull the trigger without waiting for videos like this. Thank you again Crimson for the excellent showcase.

HELLO GOOD SIR I REALLY NEED SOME HELP MODDING STARFIELD LOL AND WHILE HAVING AN AXIETY ATTACK I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL and then i saw you posted 12 minutes ago so if you would be able to answer my question to any capacity you have a follower 4 lyfeeeeeeeeeeeee .............so the game is struggling when i have more than 100 mods running. so my idea is if i can merge many of these similar mods together, then it will work more efficiently? i.e.) all the retexturing packs as one instead of 5. but i was just thinking as typing this, what is the reason for their being multiple different files in one big overhaul? like for Starvival, even though i can select different ESP's or w.e in the installer (vortex) is the idea that these specific features should go at different points in the load order? they are seperated plugins so they can load accordingly? if thats the case can i just take chunks of my load order and merge that together?

if you want to make the spacers go from a small nuisance to a major military power in difficulty combine this mod spacer overhaul with dark universe takeover royal leveled enemies makes the spacers so much more fun to fight

I'm currently going for something that doesn't stray too far from vanilla but this looks good for my eventual fallout/zombie apocalypse playthrough. (If only someone made a mod that incorporated some sort of zombie/creature all around planets.

This one seems to me more of a way to give a donation to Zone79 if you like his work and get a nice little thank you in return. I'm not sure this is something I'd want for actual play, though. Now, if you really want the flavor it brings, then definitely worth it for as much as it includes.

I think its not worth it. I preffer the Star Wars Spacer Mod. It is free and the Spacers looks very cool.

Not everyone wants to make this game Starwars. I played with them too for a while but its lore friendly and it fits the role play of the scavenger group perfectly
