I love this episode! Just curious, when are you going to post the Psych reaction? IF you are going to.

Given that I currently edit all the weekly content, no new shows are coming to KZbin other than the ones that are part of verses already on my to-do list. (Arrowverse, Gateverse and The Walking Deadverse) But I do this for free, helping out a friend. (and payment would honestly complicate my private life but that's besides the point) It's highly unlikely anyone else is crazy enough to match my insanity when it comes to getting things done for free so she'd have to pay to hire additional editors. That's up to her to decide. So sadly, unless that happens, Psych and any other show on her Patreon will not be coming to KZbin.

Well actually no, they didn't kidnap the wrong person. They actually kidnapped the PERFECT person. Shepard can use Ancient technology even better and more easily than O'Neill. They don't need his technical abilities because they already HAVE their own McKay/Zalenka. They need Shepard to "initiate" the Ancient technology so that they can operate it. Remember that MOST Ancient tech only needs to be initiated and can then be used by anyone. That's all they need Shepard for.

Out of everyone on Atlantis, they simultaneously kidnapped the best and worst person, didn't they? On paper Sheppard is the perfect candidate, but whilst his ATA gene does give him a unique talent for controlling Ancient tech, his greater ability and experience with that tech, and with this type of ship specifically, is exactly what allows him to run rings around them. The Travellers couldn't have predicted Sheppard's personality and training. Their knowledge of Ancient tech seems to be limited, so a scientist who could activate it, help fix things, and, most importantly, wouldn't fight back, would've been a better choice, even with a weaker ATA gene. But, Sheppard does manage to adapt the transmitter and fix the control chair, so he isn't entirely useless in that department, either. All that time with McKay and Zelenka clearly rubbed off on him. Plus, it's always fun to see how Sheppard operates when he can't rely on/doesn't have to worry about the rest of his team. Maybe not so fun for the bad guys, though.
