Alberta Canada has around $100 billion worth of data centers being planned right now. The biggest one they already secured the funding. The thing with Alberta is natural gas is basically free and its cold though. Right now I'm seeing around 12 GW that has been announced the past few months.

@@theskydebreuil yup... Trump keeps on saying the US doesnt need Canada. He is wrong. Canada doesnt really need the US. We just need a change of attitude in Canada and have governments that get out of our way. The world needs what we have. Our problem is the current government has the wrong priorities. Virtue signaling is more important than success.

On resourceful... I would like to share a story. Part of my career was bios/embedded system engineer that developed into smartphone architect. Back when I worked in Taiwan, we only took out JTAG Debugger when 'American' customers were around. The company literary had 2 JTAG debuggers that were never used. What did we use? literary buy 4 wires, a connector on one end and it connects to serial port. It cost like $0.25 for that as to a Lauterbach JTAG Debugger that cost $900.

The question on the Corporate structure of Stargate is right on. If it's just a loosely organized Project team, don't think it will be sustainable.

Is the name STARGATE coincidence ? It was the program name for the CIAs remote viewing program that purported to finding monuments on Mars etc. They are fully prepping behind the scenes for UAP disclosure and I believe this is inseparably tied to AI ( I imagine that the most likely explanation for some of the UAP is some form of AI from elsewhere, physically &/or temporally)

Couple of questions here: - Has anybody except xAI figure how to break through the 32k GPUs limit, as I don't remember hearing anything about that, plus from what I understand xAI is using proprietary network tech from Tesla's Dojo. - Also it seems to me that OpenAI's biggest issue is not compute, but the fact that they do not have a huge real time data pipe, like xAI with X, Google & Meta with all their services, etc.

I totally agree with Brad's 2 most important things to address, race in AI and national debt. Bond market doesn't believe and Bond traders are considered 'smart' relative to stock/option traders.... but we got Elon.... :D

Words aside, actions speak loudly: the US is currently building AI controlled by the US gov. China has built competitive AI and released it to the world.
@sanesanyo9 сағат бұрын
Exactly, despite the constant China rhetoric Open AI has been consistently Closed AI and a Chinese company continues to open source state of the art models. I ain't buying this China bad and US good rhetoric, thus believe in a more nuanced view.
