Lol I uploaded the raw video and not the edited one. Apologies haha~
This will likely be the last UAF video as this ship has basically been capped out and I doubt it can get much stronger~
Next videos will have a very interesting Faction on display :)

The final UAF episode... RIP "Starbreaker" you will be missed. Regardless, here are the timestamps like always! 0:11 - Yup, because nothing bad has ever happened before with this amazing ship! *Flashbacks to earlier episodes* 0:15 - An omen to later disasters... 0:38 - A whole lot of fodders going straight to their own demise, you think they would be smarter considering they are A.Is... But no. 0:52 - The Enemy Fleet Commander enters the battlefield. It's a Domain-era Sporeship, a beefy ship with multiple modules though quite slow. And the A.I captain suffers from arrogance as well... 1:06 - Too late for regrets now though. 1:11 - Hey! That's... speciesism! (I think) 1:15 - The Fleet Commander isn't very happy bout that comment... 1:31 - Oh that's very neato indeed. 1:44 - Blud really thinks they a big shot with a ship built like a moldy cheese block... 2:05 - Never change, never change... 2:39 - The Sarcophagus Mk.II charges straight into The Fleet Commander, dying in an instant. 2:48 - First Tactical Error: The Fleet Commander pushes too far and overloads their Flux System while surrounded... Thankfully, nothing bad happened. I'm sure this definitely won't happen again (Foreshadowing) 3:11 - Hyping themselves up for the charge! 3:16 - The Fleet Commander charges towards the massive Sporeship. 3:24 - Sadly, not much damage is done before The Fleet Commander had to pull back. 3:32 - For real... That AI's ego is as big as it's ship. 3:58 - The Fleet Commander boosts back into action again. 4:28 - First of many Warp Mine tomfoolery. 4:55 - "Nuh-uh" *Sporeship is inflicted with confusion!* 5:00 - An enemy capital joins the fray... This one is a Nova class. It's capable of dashing forward multiple times. 5:07 - The Fleet Commander retreats after a brief skirmish with the Sporeship only for a Warp Mine to do a little trolling... 5:21 - The Nova takes advantage of the precarious situation and engages The Fleet Commander. 5:30 - The Fleet Commander pushes it off despite taking a lot of fire from the Sporeship! 5:45 - Hull damage reaching 60% now... 5:52 - Uh oh 6:00 - Yet another charge towards the Sporeship, this time it's alone so The Fleet Commander has a chance of actually doing real damage this time around! 6:09 - The Nova attempts to intercept and save the Sporeship from taking too much damage. 6:11 - However, it is too late and the Sporeship's Command Core module is successfully destroyed. Much to the Sporeship's annoyance. 6:15 - All these A.Is are so mean... 6:18 - The Nova attempts to engage The Fleet Commander while their Flux System is strained. 6:20 - Warp Mine appears at literally the worst possible time! 6:30 - The Nova underestimates The Fleet Commander and attempts to retreat. 6:42 - The Fleet Commander inflicts a killing blow for its hubris. 6:48 - One capital down, many left to go. 7:03 - The Sporeship pushes forward aggressively, blud didn't take losing their face very well. 7:34 - The Fleet Commander charges again after a brief break time. 7:52 - The Sporeship loses its Sensor module this time. The A.I seethe even more... 8:00 - Convenient cover! 8:18 - So many cheese block fodders. 8:32 - First cheese block to get cooked. 8:42 - Incoming capital, a Guardian class... This thing can engage in bursts of high mobility. 8:51 - *DOUBLE CHEESE KILL* , niceeee. 8:59 - The cheese blocks' corpses are really helpful right now. 9:08 - The Fleet Commander drifts right past the Guardian and engages the Sporeship. 9:13 - What a meanie. 9:18 - Slight ramming incident here, oof. 9:30 - The Sporeship's Deflector module barely survives with mere pixels of HP remaining. 10:05 - This time, the Deflector module is actually destroyed. 10:26 - The Fleet Commander wastes no time, taking another module away, this one being a Magazine module. 10:29 - A very scary and intimidating capital ship arrives. This one being a Wall class, quite the fitting name. 11:19 - Apparently, it was made out of duct tape and super glue. 11:44 - The Sporeship gets flanked but the Guardian quickly intervenes. 12:05 - Bro's a hypocrite... 12:19 - The Fleet Commander loses one of their armor plate... 12:38 - Warp mine strikes again. 12:59 - The Sporeship loses another Magazine Section, also the Guardian being useless in the background. 13:07 - An Autofactory Section is taken shortly after, , it's starting to run out of modules now. 13:36 - Another Guardian enters the arena, seems like the Sporeship's AI is getting desperate now... 13:54 - Guardians doing their job quite well here. 14:13 - The Guardian duo successfully pushes The Fleet Commander away, taking a large chunk of their Hull. Of course, one of the Guardian loses a majority of their Hull as well. 14:23 - Yet another capital comes in to assist the Sporeship, this one being a Radiant... 14:44 - Clutch shield block! 14:56 - Great, of course the Radiant is also mentally not stable. 15:03 - The Radiant doesn't last long under The Fleet Commander's onslaught. 15:07 - The Guardian does not make a very good attempt at diplomacy. 15:26 - Logic 100, The Fleet Commander can't comprehend the GENIUS of the Guardian... 15:52 - *Press X to doubt* 16:09 - The last Guardian does quite a poor job of intercepting if I say so myself. 16:18 - The Sporeship loses another module, an Autofactory module. 16:20 - Poor cheese block getting pushed away... 16:35 - The Guardian reflects upon their uselessness... 17:00 - Nothing like some banter during a fight to the death... 17:40 - The Fleet Commander takes out the second to last module, an Engine module. Man, those Guardians SUCK at their job. 18:10 - The Fleet Commander engages a Guardian instead of finishing off the Sporeship. 18:28 - Though they are very bad at their job, I must admit this was some good teamwork here! The Guardians successfully push off The Fleet Commander without taking any Hull damage. 18:50 - More fodder enter the fight, strange-looking ships though nothing worth mentioning. 19:05 - The poor Sheath gets its face shaved off, ouch. 19:09 - Both Guardians are currently undergoing a Windows update so they decide to watch the fodder die first. 19:55 - The Fleet Commander manages to inflict some damage to one of the Guardians. 20:30 - The Fleet Commander pushes aggressively against the lone Guardian, who was clearly abandoned by their teammate, a shame honestly. 20:39 - Second Tactical Error: before the finishing blow was applied, The Fleet Commander forgot about their Flux System and overloaded it, great. 20:42 - The Fleet Commander receives the wrath of the heavily damaged Guardian, losing their last armor plate due to the counter-attack! 20:49 - Thankfully, they didn't take much damage and swiftly dispatched the Guardian afterwards. 21:02 - Look who came back... Too late now though. 21:13 - The Sporeship is calling in as many ships as possible, really getting desperate now. 21:30 - The fodder dies quite fast... 21:36 - HOW MANY GUARDIANS ARE THERE??? 21:56 - *Flashback to the Guardian abandoing their teammate earlier* 22:05 - Karma strikes the Guardian for abandoning their teammate earlier. 22:26 - The Fleet Commander switch targets and engages the Wall of guns (which is made out of duct tape) 22:29 - The Guardian is a studious AI! Learning even in battle, good for them! Sad they'll die in a bit though. 22:55 - The Wall perishes after some resistance, nothing substantial though. 22:58 - ANOTHER GUARDIAN???? 23:02 - The Fleet Commander is not known for their eyesight clearly- 23:22 - *IS THAT ANOTHER GUARDIAN??????* 23:26 - The Fleet Commander gets pushed back by the 3 Guardian's combined assault. Things are getting quite annoying now... 23:36 - The warp mine gets denied this time around. 24:16 - The overextending Guardian manages to retreat to its group with a sliver of Hull remaining. 24:41 - The Fleet Commander finishes off the wounded Guardian. 24:44 - Why does The Fleet Commander have to always jinx it... 24:53 - Spoiler alert: there was indeed... another Guardian. 24:56 - Thankfully The Fleet Commander takes down another Guardian right after the newest one enters the fight. 24:58 - The Rathaus ZOOM past the screen. They really do keep coming. 25:28 - Woah?! The Rathaus has 2 shields? 25:50 - It doesn't last long under The Fleet Commander's sustained fire though. 26:13 - The Fleet Commander finally gets back at all the insults thrown at them... 26:49 - The insulted Guardian meets its end after a brief skirmish. Much to the Sporeship's dismay... 26:53 - ANOTHER ship enters the fray, the Sporeship just keeps pumping them out. 27:28 - The Equinox's trap card... 27:33 - The ensuing explosion deals major damage to The Fleet Commander's Hull! Things are gettind dangerous... 27:50 - *Emotional damage inflicted* , Sporeship wasn't happy about that. 28:11 - The Fleet Commander is cooking up something in their mind... 28:16 - The Fleet Commander style on the Sporeship! *Why* 28:43 - The Fleet Commander blow up the final Guardian... FINALLY, the battle near its end- 28:47 - Why did I say that... Another capital speeds in, seems to be an Incandescent (basically a High tech Onslaught) 28:56 - The Fleet Commander vents their frustration onto the Sporeship... With bullets. 30:30 - Old habits die hard I guess. 30:42 - THE FINAL UNDERLING SHIP DIES... Please be the actual last one... 30:48 - Apparently the Incandescent has a backup ship. 31:23 - The Incandescent loses again, how embarrassing. 31:30 - That's it, the last minion ship... NO MORE PLEASE, it's time to end this... 32:02 - After everything, after all the insults and all the monologuing... The Sporeship is executed as it explodes in a fiery death. That was a fun finale to the UAF! I would've written this earlier if I wasn't so busy with school. This finale felt both intense and strangely easy at the same time for some reason. Maybe it was because there wasn't that many ships at once unlike the previous episodes.

@natpat6394 - I apricate the compliment~ Tbh this is only possible with Progressive S-Mods, Exotica, and because this ship is the Aeria Charlotte haha~. If this was any other ship (even WITH Progressive S-Mods and Exotica) It wouldn't have gone as well. In fact I probably wouldn't be able to clear it. Though it does also help that I love the Aeria Charlotte and it is one of the only ships I am *very* comfortable using and I am more-keen on how much I can push it~ Well, sometimes, not always - sometimes I still make poor calls or miscalculate how much I can take - but usually I'm pretty good at understanding when to pull back and push forward~

The single ship runs are always a blast. Ive done it in an onslaught, dun scaith and an afflictor (Though i always have CR and ammo problem with the afflictor one) I was wondering if you've ever used the alcohol mod, its really fun seeing how drunk crews can greatly effect the ship (They go outside and repair armour)

@batuarganda728 - I've never tried that mod before, but I honestly think having Hel Plating is already a huge advantage even though it costs 40% of my armor to have built-in. The armor regen it applies is already quite strong on its own. If I had *more* ways to repair armor on top of that I feel like it'd be *too* much imo haha~ I'm sure it does more than *just* that but we'll see. I may try it in the future. @AstralSpace_
@AstralSpace_ 7 ай бұрын
@irrelevanceYT - Primordial Stream? It's from Random Assortment of Things. You can find it from exploring deep into the void fissure (tends to spawn near the bottom left of the sector, but it has a special red icon so it's impossible to miss). But the fleets that patrol void-systems are *really* strong, especially deeper in. I don't think they are end-game strong, but you'd still need a fairly decent fleet to handle them easily. That or you could in theory try to sneak past all of the fleets, but you're better off getting a solid fleet together and smashing your way through. Trust me, I have tried many times to sneak through and ninja all of the loot. It's nigh on impossible to sneak past every fleet as some of the patrol in very close proximity to the entrances/exits between rifts. There's a lot you can find in there including a special trait (iirc it's called "Abyssal Bloodstream") that boosts Ballistic/Energy Damage by +10% at the cost of -10% range for those self-same weapon-types. This trait can be given to either you, or one of your officers. And I think you can only get it once as I believe the station you can get it from only spawns once deep within the fissure. I'm sure there are other neat things you can find to, I haven't ever fully explored it as I tend to get tired of fighting the same fleets over-and-over and by that point I've already made enough money to setup multiple colonies. and afford a bunch of fully-kitted capitals. It's also a really good place to farm money as the special A.I Cores that drop from their ships sell for a ton of credits and they drop very commonly. And with how many fleets you fight while exploring, you get amass quite a fortune very quickly assuming you have the logistics to support pro-longed ventures into it. Can also get tons of BP's, colony items, etc. here so it's a really neat place to sink a lot of time into exploring as you are going to get a sizeable credit pay-out as well as lots of BP's and some nice colony items. Unfortunately, I will say that Hull Alterations do not work for *many* custom factions. It works for UAF, (Maybe) Ironshell, but every custom faction I've tried thus far - does not work as the custom option in the "Additional Options" drop-down on the refit screen is missing for their ships (Thus far, I've tried: Volition Reclamation, Appro-Light, Epta, & Spindle) But even without the ability to use Hull Alterations, exploring it can make you a lot of money very fast, depending on how easily you are able to deal with the patrolling ships and how much you can ferry back and forth. Should work fine with any vanilla (and probably, expanded vanilla) ships, but I've never used vanilla ships when playing with mods so take that with a grain of salt, at least for mods that expand vanilla faction fleet doctrines. I will say that it *isn't* save-game compatible, so you would need to start a new save if you want to use it~ *But* I do apologize for the mega-essay response haha~

Nice video, not sure why you continued to charge the mothership head on instead of flanking it though.
@AstralSpace_
@AstralSpace_ 7 ай бұрын
@manny1085 - Depends on what timeframe you mean, during the start of the battle - and this in my opinion based on hind-sight - but it feels better to break the front modules first as they make up the vast majority of the Sporeship's actual firepower. Taking out the core module alone took off a big chunk of firepower that would have otherwise constantly pounded me throughout the entire fight, since the Sporeship itself ended up surviving until the end due the constant reinforcements which kept baring me from finishing it off. While I think circling around to try and take out the thrusters to immobilize it would be a decent idea - At the time I believe I just wasn't thinking about doing it tbh haha~ When I do these fights I tend to just go with the flow which tends to not always be the best option 😅. But generally, I'm not always thinking too deeply into tactics and just wing every fight as I mention in this video itself in an off-hand comment haha~

That super Domain mothership has a problem with the 2 artillery cannons its firing, the shells are supposed to split into cluster munitions when they get close to a target but would just *poof* without any shrapnel but I'm sure that wouldn't change much for this video... Have to hunt down this UAF ship when I get the chance, or buy it as it might be locked behind the dating sim rep with a roster of characters.

@@V4LC0UR - np/np~ Honestly I would suggest you join my discord (linked on my homepage as well as in the description of my new(er) videos. You can ask questions there and I (or the other members) will be happy to help you, not to mention the response time will be significantly faster than asking via a comment as I am not always available (or may not see it for an extended period of time). But to answer your questions; #1 - Primordial Stream is from Random Assortment of Things. It is a Hull Alteration module you can find while exploring the Abyss. It is a Unique Alteration and I think you can only find one - deep within the abyss. When you open the sector map you can find it on the bottom left of the sector - it has a special red blackhole icon so you can't miss it. The fleets in there get very strong though so I would recc. you have a solid fleet before exploring it. There's a lot that you can find in there (salvage/weapons/BPs/colony items/special unique skills etc. #2 - Exotica Technologies. I believe in this video at the end I show the ship loadout, including the Exotica Technology. Overcharged shields increased shield coverage, and some other shield aspects at the cost of increased upkeep. It is a separate mod you can get off the forums, has integration with other modded factions (E.X, Tahlan Shipworks) so there are special variants of normal exotica chips you can get from their markets (or by blowing up their ships). Very fun mod that adds a bit of challenge as the AI usually also has Exotica on their ships. #3 - It's not a skill, see above :) Hopefully that answers your question~ If you have additional questions - again, I'll direct you to my discord as you will simply get faster (and sometimes, better) responses. @jtojagicc - It's a unique ship called the Aeria Charlotte, you can purchase it for 1 million credits from Aeria Charlotte on New Aurora once you reach relationship 50 with her :) To unlock her you must 1st reach Relationship 50 with the 3 main contacts in the UAF (In order it would be; Nia Aurora (Vermillion Station) --> Inari LaFayette (Hem Fayette) & Alexandra Yamato (Nur Processing Plant) You must 1st be commissioned with the UAF, and unlock Nia - Upon reaching relation 25 you can ask her to give you access to the Stjarna System - which will allow you to go unlock Inari & Alexandra respectively. You then have to get all 3 to relation 50 - and go back to Nia. You can ask her to meet the queen - which will unlock the ability for you to meet Aeria Charlotte on New Aurora (As well as Roboqueen, but I don't know if she gives you a unique ship - she might but I never bothered to look). at that point you just got to get her to relationship 50 and then she will offer you the Aeria Charlotte ship for 1 million credits. This ship does not appear in their fleets because it is a *unique* ship and I believe you can only get one, and it does not have a blueprint. @NiceAsIce - You can *technically* obtain the blueprint with console commands. iirc there is a blueprint package (which I'm pretty sure you can't actually get, unless you maybe raid New Aurora or Lumen) which contains all of the Super Capitals - I believe it also gives you the BP for the Aeria Charlotte. I believe you can also use a specific structure from I *think* Industrial Evolution to copy it onto a useless duplicate BP for a weapon or ship. But I've never tried so idk for sure haha~ Regardless, I'll be honest in saying I don't know what selling the ship to the black market would do...? Besides give me a good chunk of money I would assume. My best guess is that selling it to the black market would allow other factions (based on where it is sold) to be able to make it themselves for their fleets - but that's just a shot in the dark quite frankly haha~

Sporeship has so many missile slots and such bad loadout on all of them. If it was fully loaded with hydras and gorgons it would be so much stronger. And its main canons were broken it seems, they are suposed to split into shotgun blast of 20 devastator rounds when getting close to enemy ship and they just explode here. lol Still it is my favorite boss ship in moded starsector as it embodies original starsector feel unlike flashy stuff like solvenia(ps with gorgons it tears solvenia to pieces) only caliph and locomotive come close to this feeling of actualy piloting massive ship and not just OP cruiser with extra steps. And with lots of modding it became my favorite flagship, tho I had to tune down that station targeting and missle reaload mods.

What is that ship its busted im new to starsector and the UAF mod and did it just repair its armor during the fight how is that possible

@medal14365 - I've explained what ship this is to a previous commentor, you can see what ship it is at the end of the video (You can also just look at the bottom left of the screen at any point to see what the ship is) - as well as all of the hullmods on it (I even mouse over them so if you pause, you can read what each one does), annnnd If you read the description you can see what mods I use. But, I suppose I'll go into greater detail to fully answer you question~ #1 - The ships is the Aeria Charlotte, you need to play the dating sim for UAF to get it. The typical rotation is to be commissioned with the UAF, get Nia's Contact on the Independents station in the UAF starting System. Get her to 25 relations then ask her to unlock the Strinja (or w/e) system. This unlocks the ability to get contacts with 2 more high-priority contacts (On Hem Fayatte and ... whatever the 2nd UAF station is that's orbiting the sun.) Get both of them to 50 as well as Nia, then you can ask Nia to meet the queen on New Aroura. You need to get the Queen to 50 relations then she will offer you the Aeria Charlotte for 1 million credits. To get their relationships to progress faster ask them what their favorite snack is and buy it on New Aurora and give it to them. It won't get you all the way but it will make the early stages much faster if you keep doing it every month. #2 - My ship repairs armor/hull for 2 reasons - #1 is from the Quality Captains mod, which re-balances and changes every skill, one of these changes makes your ship repair hull slowly under a certain % I believe - #2 Hel Plating from Tahlan Shipworks compromises armor (-60% Armor, -50% if you build it in) but in exchange for massively lowering ship Armor, your armor will regenerate when not under-fire, if you do not build in Hel Plating it repairs faster (but again, 10% less armor than if you build it in) but if you build it in, while you get 10% more armor, the regen rate of armor is halved. Also it's really strong because it's an End-Game ship with Exotica and Progressive S-Mods. And I'm level 40 with all Elite Traits :) Not to say this ship is bad without Exotica/Progress S-Mods, but it's not nearly strong enough to solo like it does in this video without them. Hopefully that answers your question fully haha~

@@AstralSpace_ that's a lot of information to cram in my head I just started playing, adding mods and I see that ship with all those things that you say damn starsector is really complicated

@@medal14365 - Yeah it can get a bit overwhelming if you just started the game and you are adding mods~ You'll get the hang of it soon enough. Usually all you gotta do for hullmods is just read the tooltips and you will be fine~ Though there are other things in the game that can be harder to grasp (or figure out) like some mods have whole stories attached to their factions but sometimes (at least in my opinion) it is always not super clear where to go to actually start and/or progress the story. Which is crazy since there are usually really cool special ships locked behind doing their storylines. But, if you are new to the game I run a small discord that is *mainly* focused Starsector. The other members in there are arguably much more knowledgeable about the game and various mods than I am. If you want help or have questions I'm sure if they are around they will be happy to help you where I am unable (either if I'm unavailable or do not know the answer.) It's linked if you go to my homepage, and I believe it is also linked in the descriptions of my new(er) videos. But if you don't want to join my discord to ask for help - there are quite a few videos out there that can help teach you the basics of the vanilla game - and there are also the official forums that you can browse and post on for help.

@xevrafallen2400 - Deep Abyss as a guaranteed salvage drop from the Rift Station after you defeat the fleet that guards it~ Basically just explore the Abyss until you find it, it will be at the end of one of the lanes you go down.

Its me or your mothership regenerates hull and armor?
@AstralSpace_
@AstralSpace_ 7 ай бұрын
@Zygorg - Hel Plating (From Tahlan Shipworks) regens Armor (And Hull I think) over time at the cost of drastically lowering your armor health (60% Less). I believe the Quality Captains mod changes a specific talent to regen Hull up to a certain %. Building in Hel Plating reduces the armor penalty to 50% (Instead of 60%) at the cost of halving the regen rate of Armor (and/or Hull).

12 S-mod? Is this legal?
@AstralSpace_
@AstralSpace_ 6 ай бұрын
@AleksanderKomentator - Progressive S-Mods makes it legal if you spend an ungodly amount of time XP grinding to get that many S-Mods :) Of course this was a save that had been going on for a while and this was essentially "complete". If I'm not mistaken *most* of my previous UAF videos before this were the same save so you could see my ship slowly getting more S-Mods haha~

@@AstralSpace_ But how is this possible? In the game you can only install 3 s-mods. (unless you change the files manually)
@AstralSpace_
@AstralSpace_ 6 ай бұрын
@AleksanderKomentator - If you read the 1st few words of my reply (and also I believe in the description) - You will see mention of "Progressive S-Mods" - this is a mod you can get on the forums that lets you build in way more S-Mods than the normal game allows. Building in a Hullmod costs ship XP (which is acquired automatically at the end of every combat based on your performance and actions). To build in more than 2 (or 3 with Best of the Best skill), it costs a ton of Ship XP as well as 2 SP. This will allow you to build in 1 more Hull-mod (after you pay the hullmods XP cost to build in of course). This however comes at the cost of increasing the ships Deployment cost by +1 per built-in hullmod past the base 2 - 3 Hullmods that you build-in. The amount of ship XP required every time you increase the cap goes up exponentially as well, so it tends to hit 1 million+ Ship XP per cap increase at a certain point (usually around 8 - 10 I believe). It takes a long time to grind to get this many S-Mods (Especially on a Capital-ship like the Aeria Charlotte). I believe you can adjust a lot of the mods settings to adjust XP gain, cost multipliers, etc. I am running with an unmodified version so it took quite a bit to get as many as I do in this video. Such as to say, yes - many hours of grinding and playing the game went into making this Aeria Charlotte have so many S-Mods haha~
