My best friend sent me this song a few years ago. I had just recently moved away, and we were going to go to different highschools for our freshman year. At the time, we sent each other songs every so often (he did more than I did). I think this was one of the first songs he sent me, and for some reason, one of the most memorable. Tbh, I could always remember the band name but not the actual title. I used to think that Starset was the name of this song lol It’s been a long while since I’ve listened to this song, but I’ll think about it every now and again. I was always too lazy to find the song again and listen to it until recently, when a new friend I made mentioned that Starset was one of his favorite music artists. This song brings back so many amazing memories for me, and it reminds me of my best friend... who I haven’t really heard from recently. I’ll be thinking of him though. @@grownwithme9330 Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin has a solo project with a very similar sound to Starset. There’s also plenty of metalcore bands with wholesome lyrics. Most of them are Christian, but bands like Fit For A King, Wage War, Memphis May Fire, We Came As Romans (with the exception of one song featuring a rapper) all haven’t had a single cuss word in their entire discography. As far as the uniqueness of Starset, that’s hard to match. Even then, there’s plenty of bands with a very unique sound. A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Falling In Reverse, Palisades.

In my half emo breaking benjamin days I always saw this band recommended in the comments. This is the first song I hear about 5 or 6 years ago. It felt like I was really connected with their music, I started listening to every song from every album, I started reading deeply into the lyrics and fell even more in love with this band. Now the newest album is released and ‘Endless Endeavor’ moved me, I was motivated to listen to this again straight after. Oh dear I can firmly stand and say that Starset captured my heart the second I clicked on this song that one night on Christmas Eve and year after year, album after album I’ve never once felt like a single song was out of place. a lonely soul got in love with the star around which his species evolved,rarely stars can have souls,project themself into bodies they imagine,still connected to their true star body with a small thread. they would talk alot a child of the nearly immortal species and a star,but he was only in his 22 year of life,a countless millenia ahead,wille the star was in the massive cathegory,meaning it will explode and turn into a black hole shortly,infact the laft few days were passing with them talking the most,there's a legend in their species about an orb of light forming when the love is true,it's also connected to a thread just like star's astral body is to the star itself,both of them manifested the orb,the orbs joined and they we're able to hear echothers toughts,then one day she retracted before exploding into the undead black star that devours everything in it's path,but just before explosion you could hear loud voice "i love you,don't wait for me,the time my soul will be free again will be when the universe beggins to end,when only black holes remain,and the radiation we emit finaly explodes this body out of existance too,only leaving my soul,live your life,as your race is practicly immortal compare to everything,your destiny is to leave this universe to the next one when this universe starts to die,not to wait for me" then the star exploded and turned into a black hole.......a man devastated lived his life alone,constantly crying himself to sleep for atleast a thousand years,after that he was just empty inside and devoid of life.countless eon's passed,he never was with another women,he always saw them as friends,no matter what girl tried to be with him he'd just refuse them.....his parrents,grandparents and so on were all alive as after all his race stops aging at 17. desperately when universe is about to end and as a massive wormhole is being open by his people for everyone to cross into a new universe,he refused to go,his family drugged him and still brought him with them,they didn't want him to die in this old universe. as soon as he saw stars existed again,he realised he was in another universe,he cried again,after so many eons,he cried for the first time,he secluded himself in the farthest away part of the new universe,where probably where no one can find him.he realised the planet he got on was filled with primitives that apeared to be in the age of iron(medevil)...he just observed them for some time from a distance,from far away mountains and hills,just using his equipment to zoom in on their daily lives on the market of strange vegetables and fruit. one day he desided he had enough of life,there was a group of knights and musitians sleeping under a tree,he tought he could sing them a song of his life as he kills himself,one last drop of hope dissapears. a giant screen apears above him as he aproaches,shows how misserable his life was,the most important memory of the star he once loved and still does to this day. then he began to sing the song of his life,as the pluggs in his head slowly destroy his brain,he already composed the song,so even his dead self would continue singing untill it's done,he died half way in the song,2 minutes in,the other half of the song got finished as he's already already dead.then he dissapeared into dust as he died,he programmed the nano bots that would usualy help with new enviroment diseases to kill him instead by tearing him apart instantly,atom by atom. the people who saw that dissplay all cried,they all spread the legend of what they heard and saw that night, "legend of the people who sail among the stars,and one who fell in love with the star" THE END
