I can’t remember exactly how I found Starset but this song was one of the ones I played on repeat last year when I first found this band and couldn’t get enough of each song. Usually I find bands and I like some of there songs but never all however that was not the case for Starset, I see beauty in each one of there songs and also peace and a story.

They do take you out of your current situation into a deep state of interstellar travel. I found out about them after a friend recommended the band 6 years ago when I was in highschool. They only had transmissions album at the time, and then out of nowhere they released "Monster" which is both pure ear pleasure but also a story to be absorbed into. This song in particular have motivated me to study ICU medicine ( it's always nice to romanticize abstract knowledge xd) at any rate, you will never get bored or used to listening to their songs, even if you feel like you actually did, you'd still come back for a solid hit of nostalgia and the fact that they never really grow out of style. My girlfriend recently just up and left me. Her mother passed away from cancer and she was hurting really bad. I was there for her the whole time and stayed by her side throughout the whole ordeal no matter what. But one day out of no where, she just said she didn't want to be with me anymore, and I did everything I could to try and make her stay and yet she still walked away. Every single word in this song describes exactly what I went through and how I felt the night she left me, and how I feel now. As much as I'm hurting, I can't believe the brilliant song I just heard. Honestly, I interpret the meaning of this song to me by me (or whoever is listening) looking at myself and wanting the current me/them to be like the way they were before they gained depression. At the end of the song, I feel as if he tried to call for help with the depression but nothing worked and he just feels ignored
