Making cool shit is the key to happiness. It creates a sense of progress in day-to-day life, giving us control over our increasingly artificial and optimized existence. Hell, it doesn't even have to be physical cool shit. I make poems on the regular and even then my exploration of the human experience really changes how I go about my day. I'm also partway through solo development of my own trading card game. As for how I have this much I'm working on, I'm 17. @nusi40433 ай бұрын
Building guitars sounds SO cool?? May I ask how you got into that?
@luislanga3 ай бұрын
@@nusi4043 well it's kind of a long story to be honest. I first found out building guitars was a thing when I was around 15, through KZbin. Look for Fletcher Handcrafted guitars, he's the OG, but nowadays there are plenty of videos on this subject as well. Time went by and my life was in a very dark place, I was unemployed, didn't have anyone or anything going for me but I had some cash I had saved for the future, at the time I was actually thinking about cutting my future a little bit short so I didn't mind spending some of it lol. I started looking into CNC, CAD modeling, CAM, and eventually I found out I could design and build a CNC machine for cheap in my garage (building the cnc is optional, you can get one built for you or not even go the CNC route all together, you can use just handheld power tools or just regular tools). So just acquiring knowledge about building the CNC, learning Fusion 360 as my CAD and CAM software and actually building the thing took around 6 months. I built a couple of guitars, wasn't too happy about how they turned out. Eventually I found clients online and started selling a few kits (unfinished necks and bodies), I must've sold around 10 at most, didn't make a lot of money but learned lots of stuff. I'm now in the process of building a guitar for myself since I sold all my guitars to pay for stuff while I didn't have a job and I gotta say, it's by far the best instrument I've ever built and probably the best I'll ever own if I don't screw up. If you like guitars, spending time with yourself and tackling meaningful projects, I highly encourage you to look into it. It takes a long time to pay off, so you have to enjoy the process. If you decide to give it a go, be proud of your first guitars but know that you'll probably goof up, that's completely fine. In no time you'll be building the stuff you ever dreamt about playing and having, and don't settle for good enough, you can make perfect, better than factory instruments at home.

I have been working on a story for a couple of months now. Writing all the plots down, the characters, imagining all the emotional scenes. I started working on how to animate shit, so I can one day create a short animated film and say: yep, all of this has been done by me! So far Ive showed a couple of my friends the story I want to tell, and their reaction was must the best thing a writer could possibly imagine, it genuinely made them emotional and interested in my story even though I was just telling it to them without any visuals to help me back up everything. This is honestly what keeps me going, everyday I reimagine some things and scenes, and I am also learning to draw and animate better. I wish to go to amimation school one day snd make connections with people similar to me. Thank u for this video dude, really motivates me to keep up the work :)

This video really resonated with me, especially the idea that projects can help you discover your purpose. I’ve been exploring my own ‘ikigai’ through 3D modeling, 3D printing, and building small tech projects like Arduino circuits. What I’ve learned is that starting small and focusing on what excites you-whether it’s crafting, coding, or creating art-can lead to unexpected skills, connections, and even opportunities to help others. It’s inspiring to think of each project as a step closer to the sweet spot where passion, skill, and value align. Thanks for reminding us that progress isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up and trying. Looking forward to seeing what others in this community are working on!

00:38 Can't agree more to it bro. I am a final year student, sitting for my placements But I was getting a bit distracted these days. And then suddenly my friend came up with the coolest project of the world, to make our own MICROPROCESSOR. YES, at a smaller level, but exactly in the way modern processors work. As I love the field I am in(VLSI), I was so hooked up to the project, that the whole week I didnt do anything instead of the project. I read a whole fkn book in the week on computer architecture, applied the concepts to program the processor architecture I understood through the book and lectures. And then when I completed it, I felt like a KING. And then, I realised, as much as it was interesting, it was that much difficult In fact it was the most difficult project of my UnderGrad. The best part was, the field I am in, VLSI, I completed my circle of it I mean I learned how do transistors work. I also learned how can we build logic gates through transistros in VLSI DESIGN, I also knew how we can make digital devices through those logic gates, and then through those digital devices, how we can build larger chunks of a processor, like RAM, ALU, ISA. I also was studying about how we can build low power optimised circuits, how we can test our design(code) and how are chips fabricated. The project came in like the last piece of the puzzle called VLSI.

People honestly fail to understand how underrated art is… As it is not just a painting on a canvas but like you said it can also be 3D modeling and in my opinion one of the most fun things art can be then those would be animations… Create your own story with your own characters and it doesn’t have to be adhering to perfect sketch with human like characters but could be creative like Phineas and Ferb with a Triangle Face structure and vertical rectangle face structure of the characters. But it is really fun, musical and well written plot all of that makes it interesting to watch. I think animation by far can be part of the really creative thing of Art. .

Is the voice ai generated? It's subtle but you never change the speed of your voice, and I feel like I can hear the robotic part of it still EDIT: After watching the whole thing, the voice is definitely AI generated, especially noticeable with the pause at 5:15 when he says "I suggest looking up *Pause* how to get started with arduino" The way its said doesn't make any sense. Anyway I think you should say when your videos use an AI voice in the description, just seems more genuine,

Yes this voice is ai generated, i adressed it in the comments. It is, because my accent is terrible when i'm speaking english :( , but i didnt wanna miss out on the idea i had for this video. You‘re probably right, that it should be in the description, i just plainly forgot it

this is the best cool-shit video I have watched and the way you convey it with pixels. In the last few months I've only watched motivational videos or videos about how to create content with cinematic footage, with cool visual hooks, and it just went around in my head without any action, because I felt it was difficult to do with the resources I had and my skills. after seeing your video, I think this is the coolest content, you only use very simple pixel images, which I think is very interesting and cool as shit. When I try to start my project, I am always haunted by the question of whether my project will be seen by people, what people will say about my project, whether my project is worth to upload on youtube. after watching this video, I think I should start to start my cool-shit project. Thank you very much for making this cool-shit video 😁😁😁

Perplexed by the decision to give cooking C tier. Literally every other human will have some ability to appreciate what you make and, in terms of use, you need to eat basically every single day so learning cooking pays dividends for the rest of your life.

Imo it is. If you really get into it and you want to start making more advanced dishes or baked goods, you will have to invest money, also kitchen appliances are really expensive

Great video. :) A good advice if you are just starting with learning a new skill is to not underestimate the power of small projects. Let's say you want to learn game development and have a grand idea for your dream game. Make 10-20 small games first, throwaway projects, so you learn the skill and know how to approach your passion project on a scale. You will avoid feeling overwhelmed by something you care about. This is probably most applicable to the 'Tech' category, but I hope it helps somebody!

Using an AI voice kinda goes against the whole point of the video. Creations are meant to be something personal that you made. AI is almost the exact opposite of that.

I love to create. Something I've been reflecting on lately is not focusing too much on failure when starting a project. Error is necessary to learn, it is part of the path. And I say that because one of the main reasons I didn't start a project sooner was fear of failure. So for me the most important learning when starting to create things is to leave fear behind. :)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Thanks for the video
