Like seeing your Nuhn vac truck adventures. We ordered and received two 4500 gallon units after watching your episode about them. They load in the fairly dry corral manure phenomenally fast. We unload through the elephants trunk onto tankers and then direct land apply the manure. The trunk is smaller than our current pull behind vacuums and didn’t unload very well. Nuhn’s solution was to deliver these vacuums to dairymen in Idaho that use them the normal way. They were happy because they were on the waiting list. Now they are modifying the overhead piping to bigger diameter and less bends and building them into two new units. Their willingness to redesign to fit our operation is pretty awesome. We are looking forward to getting the next new ones and putting them to work. PS. I can’t afford to watch your channel anymore….🤣. Thanks for letting us follow you and your family along.

Your kids cease to amaze me Andy, most kids now day don't want nothing to do with the farm life. Jared could go out and make really good money for John Deere or CAT but he won't cause farming is his life just like mine. Love the video's Andy! Keep them coming. Jared should build a pulling tractor that would be cool to watch!!

No wrong with a little uncle ether to get a fresh engine started. Not like it wasnt lubricated with all the cranking previously. Awesome video
@davidyoung91959 күн бұрын
You are supposed to pump the manual fuel pump 200 strokes before trying to start. I always did mine that way, spun the engine over a few times, pumped it up again and then it started. That’s how the book says to do it and also what Detroit mechanics told me. There is also a tool for filling the filters but it’s rather pricey and me being a tight ass I just used the manual pump. Looks like everything sealed up good.

Sounds like a possible weak injector on that 8320. Doesn't seem to be loading and off loading very well, you can hear the engine surging. I'm not sure how these newer injectors work, but a weak spring would allow it to leak off and cause a hard start situation. The fuel in the exhaust is probably related. Another engine back in running order, just some minor adjustments. Great job!🤙

I'm not sure what year it was , but the EPA and the 3 motor companies got together and went around to the trucking companies and told them to stop messing with the engines . They could limit the speed only or they would not warranty the motors and fine them for taking the motor out of EPA regulations . So you need to put it back to factory EPA specifications and just limit the speed if you want .

I just read the previous comment. I was taught that you crack the fuel line at the pump and start priming. When you fuel without bubbles then try to start it. Question on a totally different subject. Do you ever take a vacation? I'm not talking an E bike ride to the forest preserve I mean 2 weeks in Florida.
