i’m looking back at my loc journey pictures and loc journey videos to see how far I’ve come. I started this set of locs almost 7 years ago and I thought a loc journey reaction video would be fun to share with you. I did starter locs two strand twists to start my loc journey so this loc journey time lapse is a glimpse at what was happening then vs what is happening now. If you could know what will my locs look like in years from now, would you want to know?

Please don't be offended but I have been with you since your third or fourth loc journey and I'm truly shocked you kept going with this set. When you said you were getting that itch to cut these I thought girl I'm shook that they lasted this long 😂. I'm glad you didn't cut them. Your locs and the color is the rare best set of locs I have ever seen so far on the KZbin streets and everywhere else. Your locs are truly a motivation for many to keep going, because seeing the start is rough and can discourage most. Seeing the end results is truly inspiring and motivating.

34 months into loc journey. Thus far I am enjoying my journey. The early stages were challenging however I stayed the course. Patience is key. Now that my locs are so much longer, I notice my scalp has become sensitive and the weight is noticeable. I started with retwist twice a month, now every 6-8 weeks. I don't maintain my hair. Love the video. Very relatable.

I did enjoy this and it was super encouraging ❤️🤗! I’m 16 months loc’d. My hair was waist length so it’s definitely been an adjustment but I love them more everyday 🥰! I want to semi free form too but my stylist says not yet also 😅! We retwist every 4 weeks now. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏿!

Yes I enjoyed this video. I'm on my 2nd loc journey. Well the first one was for a month that I did the 2 strand twist then my granddaughter came to live with me from college and she retwisted, gave me better parts and even sections. She even insta loc them. Now another month later in and I'm still enjoying them. It's hard to keep my hands out of them but I try my best to not touch them. Please keep the past video clips coming it's so encouraging.

Day 19 of 2 strand starter twists and i just redid the front half because the size was too small and i saw your video explaining how combining locs is not a good idea. I have around 30 semi-freeform from here on. Exciting!

I’m going to try and embrace the whole journey. I hear a lot of people with mature locs say they actually miss the starter phase. Being able to watch their hair change. So I guess that’s what helps me try to enjoy this stage, and all it’s many changes ❤. Your hair is BEAUTIFUL (I still can’t wait to get there 😬)

I have mature locs and for me I HATED the starter phase and really the first two years, but I appreciate my locs more because of that struggle. The struggle humbles you and helps create any self love that is not in you. It really makes you embrace your true natural self. It breaks down that negropean mental state.

Definitely enjoyed seeing your journey. I’m 2 months in and I’m experiencing lots of frizz. It doesn’t bother me but it’s nice to see what I have to look forward to. I think my locs are beautiful now and it excites me to know they are going to transform into something even more beautiful. Thanks for sharing! 💖

I'm 2.5 years in and loving it but seriously considering restarting. Not sure I want to start over now that i am really seeing some length and thickness but I have a few locs I am concerned are way too thin. Just watched one of your videos that convinced me that combining them might not be the best option so now I'm torn on what to do.

I'm at 2.5 years. I don't plan to restart because I absolutely hated my starter locs. I didn't realize I had a odd number of locs so if I ever restarted I would make sure I have a number divisible by 2 and 3 but I highly doubt that I would restart
