@@isaacsrandomvideos667 Not true. My second car is a 2003 Honda Civic. No mention of rust on the MOT history at all yet! Underside and bodywork are rust free. I have seen a few German cars of similar age that have quite a bit of visible body rust present. As for the engine. With only 80k miles it's just run in.

This is the reason I Iove Hondas. They can be beaten into the ground and they would still run. The only real weak spot on these (at least the early 2000s ones) is the PCV hose that sometimes likes to dry rot and pinch shut but other than that they’re really faithful machines.

yeah funny thing I took a 98 civic fuel pump and rigged that bad boy into the fuel tank of my 91 accord. car's been sitting for 5 years, we got it 200 bucks. put new igniton key in fired right up.. blew alternator, replaced that, fi.. didn't fire right up. because the clutch damper broke. replaced that about 2 years later with a bypass kit then fuel pump broke. then the fuel filter clogged. replaced that and now it fires right up. (almost) never holds a charge even after idling for like 30 minutes. but i do have a size 34 battery used on a 454 from a tow truck. we killed it when trying to crank up a new 454 on the tow truck. but it kinda starts but runs.. well.. like a $1000 should but it was $200. recently the driver side motor mount busted so I gotta replace that soon. but Im 15 and it's a goodish starter car. also it looks like someone rammed a trailer into the front it's not all that bad just needs a new headlight and hood. and paintjob.

Considering it had 269,000 miles on it, and with all that abuse, and neglect, engine started and ran smooth, only a Honda or a Toyota can do this, all other cars will refuse to start or after much more trouble to start the engine, have a very rough idle and keep stalling.
Besides the fact that Hondas of this generation love to rust, they are still such good little cars
