This car was one of the best AUDI i ever drove. I mean the 134 HP engine. Easily going real 195-200 km/h, and only 10L per 100kms gasoline when you were on 170km/h or so. I mean compared to my A4 3.0 TDI from 2005 this is not very impressing, but in 1983 that was amazing, especially the acceleration from 140 to 195km/h

When I was a kid in the 1970’s, the neighbors that moved in next door came from Argentina. The father of the kid I became friends with worked on Audis and opened a mechanics garage in Philadelphia, PA. He always had the coolest, old Audis in for repair. I’m good friends to this do after 40+ years.

У меня была Ауди 90, там тоже стоял пятицилиндровый двигатель, самые лучшие воспоминания, за счёт крутящего момента вытаскивала из такой грязи, что трудно поверить, при этом не нужно было нажимать на педаль газа, просто на минимальных оборотах, за дорогу держалась как приклееная. Когда продавал, пробег был 320000 км. Компрессия во всех пяти цилиндрах 14 ед. Вот это были моторы!

The good and old MD270. In Brazil, they evolved into the AP series, with longer connecting rods and more torque. It's still one of the most reliable engines here.

There is a good reason it was parked there 15 years ago - major engine repairs needed - those bearings (and most probably valves too) are shot!

@@HENRY-om7bw привет! Ну я писал что конкретно этому мотору крышка. Починить их прекрасно возможно, если найти запчасти, а это уже сейчас сделать гораздо сложнее, чем 15 лет назад. Двигатель DZ действительно был, и был неплох, если бы не его механический впрыск, который в настоящее время опять же, никто толком не знает как обслуживать, да и запчасти тоже исчезли. По моему мнению лучший мотор для 44 кузова это 4В, 1.8 моно и 2.4 дизель, не помню буковки) ну а если гонять, то 3В. У меня были все эти моторы и не только эти, а вообще штук 30 соток в 44 кузове) на другом моем канале есть обзор на последнюю оставшуюся 100 авант 2.3)

Да я ошиблась . мотор D R но он у нас карбюраторный он раньше был придуман чем D Z и стоял наверно на С 1 , а вообще мне и самой интересно где он стоял ? Может подскажете ? Вот пошла посмотрела . только Воздушный фильтр пришлось снимать , - карбюратор Pierburg - 18 Solex Made in Germany - так на нём и написано , но при этом сама машина 1988 года рождения . вообщем полный винегрет а D Z стоял наверно на Audi - 80 /// правильно ? I love this engine soo much, Fun fact the Vw Bus T3 in South Africa had this 5 cylinder 10v engine as Electronic injection & was a rear mounted, rear wheel drive engine in all of the South African Version buses, after the boxer engine was discontinued everywhere. The (VOLKSIEBUS/Microbus or Caravelle) had an Audi 5 cylinder engine From 1990 until the end of production in 2002. I Love It and I Hope to rebuild it my own Someday!...

K/Ke-Jetronic are extremely reliable systems as you can see in this video. The issue with them is mechanics knowing nothing about them.

Тут тоже слышно нет компрессии, то есть то нету, нужно в цилиндры масло налить и без свечей про вернуть, компрессия появится хорошая, из за простоя пропадает масленная плёнка.

These are very nice Audi`s 0 rust, only in the places where it was damaged and if the zinc coating got damaged there. Very comfy and they just float above the road when you drive them.

Ага, у меня так помню е46 БМВ застучала в один не очень прекрасный момент. Можно починить, но не дешевое удовольствие. Новые вкладыши для шатунов, расточка коленвала, прочистка и промывка всей системы от стружки, разборка-сборка движка. 2000 евро мне обошелся тогда ремонт M43TU движка🥺

Still look at the prices, timing belt was still like $7 or somthing. and what 30 mpg, loved my 5000 an '84 you need a makita compresso the little xt you can blow all the dirt outta the plug gasket area and bolt hols and it pump's tire's up too. Really awesome show thanks!

For those who would be interested in manufacturers who fitted K/KE-Je/Mo-tronic systems in their cars (+ bonus): 1. Alfa-Romeo 2. Audi 3. BMW 4. Citroen 5. Daihatsu 6. Fiat 7. Ford 8. Honda 9. Hyundai 10. Isuzu 11. Jaguar 12. Lancia 13. Land Rover 14. Mazda 15. Mercedes-Benz 16. Mitsubishi 17. Nissan 18. Opel 19. Peugeot 20. Renault 21. Rover 22. Mini-Cooper 23. Saab 24. Seat 25. Subaru 26. Suzuki 27. Toyota 28. Volkswagen 29. Volvo And what a shame that there's not so many servicemen who understand these systems and know what's inside them. And shame to those serviceman who do not want to learn about these systems. Good cars, reliable systems, but once something goes wrong - noone could repair it... In this situation you can replace it with electronic injection system. I did, and it works now. It's called "Invent Jetronic" by Invent Labs. It might help to some people.
