I am blown away by your talent but the fact that you work in a white t-shirt and keep it white is a talent on a whole other level! 🤷♀️

we live in such a phony world that your videos are so refreshingly honest. saying you werent happy with a result and starting over takes courage before 45K followers! i applaud you for this and also for the style/workflow you have created to express yourself visually. and forget the artwork which is of course top notch, your video production which is a whole art form in itself yields very watchable and entertaining clips. I love your music choices.

Your work is like life; it requires a combination of issues to make it work. The decisions that are made must be combined to acquire tones that make us live. Thank you, Carly.

Have I mentioned yet how much I absolutely love to watch your videos? You are such an amazing artist and you have a very special gift! If you ever feel down or frustrated, just know that you are doing an amazing job and that you are your own worst critic! Your work is truly amazing!

I am a little late to drawing as I am now 71. I have been at it for three years where I work at it 2-3 hours every morning. The work has gotten better and am looking forward to expanding my art pieces to create more complicated and complex works byincorporating new techniques. I really enjoy watching your use of different materials and the use of screens to sharpen and protect your art. As a left hander it has been a journey in learning how to protect what I have done. Watching your work is exciting and encouraging. Thanks for your videos!

I love watching your video's. You got me back into working large and in charcoal. I forgot how versatile charcoal can be. I recently converted my living room into one large art studio so the fun begins. My first large piece almost got destroyed after spending 16 hrs on it. I pushed through and managed to save it. I can't tell you the number of pieces I have thrown away over the year's.

Its super relaxing to watch your process like with the paper get wet then a bit of color and sharpening pencils...just a calming thing. And that pottery is so beautiful and just so special that you've made them with your own hands and with those you love!! I have some pieces my aunt handmade, gosh, 30 or 40 years ago and they're very special to me :)

Firstly, go you on making the brave decision to restart your piece! I know first-hand how hard it is to make that move, after spending hours on the initial piece, it really does sometimes feel like you're fighting against yourself/ your own worst critique. This piece looks amazing so far, I wish I had found your channel sooner! Good luck in completing it, and for your upcoming exhibition :)

No one believed me on the art groups on facebook that makeup brushes and sponges were the bomb! I love the idea of using a board to rest your arm on. I will try that tonight!!! I'm not sure, however, that I will grow my pinky fingernail out to use as a guide while drawing lol... ref @7:29

Hola Carly, q tal? Q susto te has dado con la pinza!!! . Feliz 2022. 🥰🙋♂️

Merry charismas …. it's been a while since the last time I hold the pencell .. some times many things hold us from doing the things we love thank you for been a motivator to put me back on the game editing the video to match the gray effect of the veiled portraits make it a bit classy t it' gave a sensitive touch to reflect your art form and yeah …. you really need bigger clippers .. you must be extra carful with these things best of luck and have a nice holiday.

Hello Carly, what did you apply on the paper before using charcoal+ water? Was it water or some kind of oil? Did you stretch the paper or you just made a thin layer of oil or water on the paper? Thank you
