Big fan of older Chrysler products, never seen one with a diesel engine before. Interestingly for those who don’t know, up until 1995 these vans are built on a super elongated version of the K car platform. These vans and the K car siblings are the product of the legendary Lee Iacocca and literally saved Chrysler from bankruptcy in the 80’s. Also they were the first cars made standard in 1990’ with a driver side airbag as standard equipment.

I don't know why people in that country leave cars that still work, here in Spain it is normal to change cars when it no longer moves another meter. And people who buy a new car and the old one still works, the Moroccan Arabs or the gypsies (the poorest in Spain) buy it.
@robw65052 ай бұрын
@@caballo_de_guerra You are right sir! OK the car may not be in the best of condition right now, but, it could be usable to the right person. I blame previous owners of it for letting it get to that stage, and, with everything else they see somebody with a new car and feel they have to keep up. I hope they can do something with this car so somebody can use it.👍

@@robw6505 Not all cars are the same 😁that one is big and pretty shape, and it is my favorite color (also midnight blue). I have learned on a KZbin channel called "Garaje Hermetico" that it is important to take care of cars and have them maintained and not leave them broken. Because its second-hand value will be much higher. Sometimes, wanting to save money you will only get a car that has no second-hand value. But if you take care of it and it always looks nice and perfect, the second-hand value will be higher and all that maintenance money will come back when you sell your car.

WOW! I have owned a few of these, but all of mine were either the Mitsubishi 2.5 non-turbo or the Mitsubishi 6G72 3.0L V6...I never knew they were offered with a diesel elsewhere! These were also offered with the Mitsubishi 2.5 turbo here in the US. I had a 1990 Dodge Spirit 2.5 turbo and it was a fun car for $500. I paid $25 for a used automatic trans (because mine didn't have reverse, typical era Chrysler FWD transmissions), and I bought my buddy a case of beer to install it. I drove that car for 20,000 miles before I took a turn too hard and it threw a rod due to oil starvation. That engine had 180,000 miles on it.
