Hugh... you didn't deserve that fate, old friend. I don't have much hope left that Jen survived Temcam's rampage. Once Jen's fate is confirmed, the Horde Base is built to functional capacity, and the fence around the house is completed, I say we transfer the traders' bodies to a plot in the back yard. That way, we can give them all a proper funeral. Their lives will not have been lost in vain.

I get the distinct feeling that the loot is never going to be higher than green quality. Might have to have a poke through the .xml files to have a look to confirm, but my gut tells me "You want something good, you forge it yourself!" might be the motto of this mod. Love your Vids, Tem! The care and attention you put into editing is second to none! Looking forward to the next episode. Hopefully, TemCam didn't take a evolutionary biology course under Doctor Anna from DF... :D

Ya I'm not sure loot stages means anything as far a quality is concerned. I have found some green quality items in the snow biome

Most of the overhaul mods that add in extreme item levels usually make it so that crafted gear is better than anything you can find, or you can only find regular gear and the mod/better items are craft only, or both, which honestly makes sense. Why go through all the trouble of making it a more hardcore granular mod that focuses on looting for resources to advance, but then let them loot end game gear, it would bypass the whole purpose of the mod.

To add to this, literally every "Steel" tier item Tem has been pulling out of loot was of exactly quality 10922. Seems like a hard cap

@@longclaw_8 i pull ~16864 . 3 levels into loot gobbler. but only a single exception - a steel helmet with 35k. but yeah, the hard cap is probably in place, but loot gobble can help a bit. though it's pointless, rather spend those point into meticulous to craft anything good at all. considering lvl80 crafting gear usually gets to quality 44k around 210 into same crafting skill

Funny you mention Just Rob cause I just watched one of his videos last night! AfterLife is a real challenge!! Also, Me and a buddy have been playing AfterLife but the server we are playing on had some issues and lost the save file so we started on Craft until you die.....It really is starting off fun. The zombies are super tough. I died like 6-8 times the first day! it might be a mod you wanna try at some point!!

Tip: You'll want a Iron Axe instead of a Steel Axe if you are after chopping tree's, Iron has around 70 more block damage for the same quality as your Steel one. Steel axes in this mod are more of a melee weapon, a terrible one at that as well. Better than your scrap one you had but don't throw out Iron if you find them. Also Zombies and Dire Wolves & Zombie Bears will attack each other, its a bug to the mod as they do zero damage to each other.

@@rabbidninja79 it's only good for starters. beyond lvl 30 crafting skills it's turbo bad. i took it to test around those levels and i didn't get a single level out of it, and that was 20 days ago ingame

@NO122221 I'm not even sure it's good for starters. 4% just isn't worth a point. I've got a game that's about day 20 or so (can't be sure) and not a single craft skill has increased from that skill.

That C-A-B POI is good for a quick base (non-horde base). If you have Parkour 2, you can jump from the parking pillars to the awning roof and then to the roof. That keeps you from running through the building to the ladder. And the zombies have no way to get up. And the house bit with the dog is big enough for all the normal crafting stations and supply boxes. Just make sure to not take a quest and reset all of your stuff.

Man that was a lot of books. Its insane how packed the tier two crackabook location always is with books to read. You would expect the tier 5 crack hq would have the most, but no, its the lowest level poi. I guess next figure out which thing you want to unlock the most, armor, weapons, etc, and just bulk craft a few dozen of them then move on to the next thing you need? Also, I lost track, were you even wearing armor during the horde night when the dire wolves were near one shotting you?

Tem, once you are able to build iron tools, make sure you check the stats of the fire axe against the steel one you found. We just did HN 63 and it was nutz. We must have killed 1000 birds. At one point it was birds and spiders only. No stoners and no regulars lol

If you hold shift key while clicking craft on the item, it will craft that item at the beginning of the queue and push everything else back.

I think the harder biomes are good for finding your first nailgun, ratchet etc. I went into the snow biome to find mine. Haven't looted any high tier items yet, so been focusing on putting all my lit-fragments into automatic weapons.

Just an FYI, ive maxed out loot goblin, day 91, explored wasteland. And I haven't found an item above green quality. Which means making your own literature fragments is the most efficient way to progression. Make paper in the chem station, black paste in mortars and fragments in research desks.

seems like looting loot bag is better than clearing structure. edit: i think the reason this horde's vulture is more manageable is because the last horde you were killing normal zombie as well which free up the zombie cap while in this horde the regular zombie has taken up a good bit of the cap which mean less special zombie

That Whisperer noise can drive one nutty after a while. I wonder who controls who? Does TemCam lead the Whisperers, or is he enthralled by their hive-mind? The Wasteland is nuts. The horde went well, better than last time now that you know what to expect. I agree the Snow was a disappointment, increased risk with little reward. Your base will be interesting.

Great episode. if your old partner can be soo wicked, what are you capable of doing? Mybe a series where you are wicked. question can it be that the quality of your loot has been stunted by your mag level? if you got your level up will you see more green items? I thought about the green running shoes you got, you have been increasing your leather and tailoring while the other stuff you decided to scrap?

Im at day 63 and yeah those biomes suck. If you want better quality you gotta craft. I have an almost maxed out loot goblin and it doesnt help much. Doing loot runs in both the snow and wasteland i haven't found anything amazing and so far the only reason to go into those other biomes from what i have seen is for the ores and crack a book stores. Which if you focus on books and certain weapons you can easily craft anything you will ever find in loot. Most weapons and tools have been like 18k quality max and the armor was like 37k quality. The only green quality weapon i have found was the stun baton. At the point you are at you might want to focus on getting the Inconel Club it will be a huge upgrade.

Bit of a long reply here, sorry. In his previous videos the camera work was done by another player named TemCam, it was literally Temreki(the guy here)multitasking as he does to get his shots of his character while he does his montages that he now says are done by 'drone'. The 'lore' behind it is that during the one of his previous series, a group of bandits called Psycho's kidnapped and started torturing TemCam before Temreki was able to save him, which broke TemCam and caused him to betray Temreki, now Temreki's out for revenge but has seemingly stumbled upon something that, even broken by torture, not even TemCam would do, which is how the traders are being treated so far, especially with Hugh having his eyes carved out.

You could put down wood logs as temporary prop ups. Also maybe carry some on you instead of frame shapes? You could just compare them wow much a chair weights and maybe just haul chairs around XD
