I used to know a guy who had one of these. The front suspension seemed to work really well, but not because the shock absorbers were working, because the front inner wings were so badly rusted that the rusted inner wing structure would flex way before the shock absorber 😄

I admire that you bother using proper coolant liquid for resurrecting those cars. I think disconnected coolant hose is a sign that last owner drained the system before winter because there was water in it. Water was there because system was leaking and he didn't want to waste coolant liquid for topping up each time. I'm betting that heater core is leaking like a sieve.

Those mercedes were and are immortals. 10 years in the harsh of Estonia under snow, rain and God knows what else? No problem. Just put new diesel, new battery and connect some hoses. Business as usual

@@recycleman975 even more: some automatic Mercedes gearboxes don’t have a release button in order to unlock it in case it doesn’t move from P or D to N. You are obliged to remove it in order to be able to move the car, or call a tow truck which costs a lot

I would like it in the videos that you would solve the electrical faults in the lighting such as the not working headlight, rear lights, turn signals in the video and show what the cause was. You often have cars where several things are broken but they cannot be repaired. it would make the videos a lot more interesting for me.

Mercedes IS Warrior. Great and maximum ready always and at all Times. An indestructible chariot that no one will ever make again. Please save him, this car has the potentional after a minor refurbishment to take, to the road again legally, this particular piece and I that dark blue purple 300D , from a previous video. Both of you please save. I dont know what state the floor is in for this red 200 Diesel , and especially under the door, but it has the potential to save. The only flaw in the beauty is the engine bonnet, which I d either replace from another car, or the car wreck , or I d grind all over the metal , and after corrosion protection I d spray it into the same shades of red. Keep it up gentlemen , in a couple of years it may be that from the entire W 123 range you will have all versions , models and designs. You are already missing 220D, 240D, 240 TD, 240/5D,and 300 , 5 cylinder Turbodiesels-- 300TD . And I didnt write about petrol versions engine, How about W123T, a combi version of W123, alias T123 models, or coupe versions of C 123. The C123 is very, very rare versions . Respect for you gentlemen. Fingers crossed. The red 200D, I d, reconstruct the whole thing, I d rewire the engine bonnet ,I dont know what condition the floor of the car is in , I d get a big main carpet for the interior , and the same wheel rims that 300D from the previous video has. Those aluminium Mercedes wheels of the socalled Baroque wheels. And what other surprise and what other cars, are hiding under other autosails. I hope the previous owner of the 200 D , is a Mercedes lover, and under those sailing there are also other Mercedes Trust you with all the cars. Respect for you Gentlemen.

my family first MB was an W123 300D ( none turbo )with 4-speed manual transmission, the car comes with power steering, central locking, ice cool aircond and electric antenna, it was an 1978 model, our local dealer also had the 240D but its really under power when 5 person in the car climbing up hills…
