Excellent beginner gardening video!! I am not a new gardener, started my first vegetable gardens and a homestead decades ago. However, life circumstances have kept me away from gardening for 14 years. I recently purchased a half-acre property and am starting over completely from scratch building a homestead, veg garden, orchard, berry patch, ducks, chickens, etc. and am feeling a bit overwhelmed (being many years older now and doing it on my own) so videos like yours are helping me to remember to take it one day at a time...thank you!! 🌱

Really? KZbin promoting my old content I cant believe it :D I am doing fine thanks for asking. How are you? I am in my lows with the content right now because there is nothing much to do. Waiting for the first frost and cleanup of the garden. Doing plans for my next season :D

@@SmallGardenQuest Glad all is well,yes, the fall seasonal slump is on for so many of us. Yeah, there you were, pushed by KZbin in the first three or four rows of recommendations. I suspect they key it off of my recent searches. Best wishes!

Small Garden Quest Small Garden Quest I live in South Carolina in the southeastern United States. We’re considered zone 8a, but this past winter was so mild and spring came so early, it feels like that may be changing. I would love to learn more about your country and the role gardening plays there. Another KZbinr that I follow, Huw Richards, did a series about his visits to Slovenian gardens/gardeners in 2018. So interesting and such a beautiful place!

Great vid. Getting started on my (first time) sq ft garden. How long is the PVC pipe used cover the 4 x 4 - hoop style? Thanks.
@SmallGardenQuest4 жыл бұрын
I think mine are 6 feet. But you can go lower to have a bigger hoop or shorter to have a lower hoop for winter salads let say :)
@harleyb.birdwhisperer3 жыл бұрын
Pi (3.14) times the diameter (the corner to corner dimension of the box you’re covering) divided by 2 (your hoop is 1/2 the circumference of the circle). Gives you the hoop length.
