Starting YouTube / GunTube Channel In 2025 For Beginners

Just started our channel a few months ago. So far it's lots of fun and a great learning experience. Thankfully I have a few nice cameras from being a videographer so that has defiantly given me a leg up

I use Microsoft One drive and upload LITERALLY EVERYTHING as a backup and just delete it off my phone. If I want to reuse, it is there to download fast and then use it until I’m done and delete it again. I highly suggest using a cloud storage for videos. I am doing a video on this for the beginning of the year to help out those who “are going to buy just haven’t started yet!” I love this hobby, but don’t confuse it with a permanent job until you make enough to be able to retire. Even then social media will run flat within moments.

Thanks for the video. KZbin sucks with the monetizing standards man. I was 500 hours or so away from getting monetized my first year (last year) and it reset now back to 0. I also unlocked the first 3 perks with 3000 views (superchat, merchandise, etc). but I didn’t activate them and now the reset as well. I don’t care about getting a million subs I just want to get monetized. That little bit of money (however much it is) will help with new guns, equipment, etc.

Mud Gunner how about a Gun Collection video. I don’t see many bigger channels do them. Mostly us smaller channels do it kinda like a tradition. Almost every smaller channel do a “2024” (example) Gun Collection once a year. I know it might be a lot of work for you cause you have a lot but for us hardcore gun enthusiast it’s very entertaining/inspirational to watch collection videos.

I use a IMac, same manfrotto tripod, pics art and my iPhone 15 pro. I need to get the wireless go mics. I have a cheap plug in studio light off of amazon. I also use iMovie so I guess I'm headed in the right direction

Yo Mud Gunner, great detailed video man. I’m a small somewhat gun channel that started talking about guns and got monetized in like 11 months, but I don’t want to talk about just guns. Should I keep the channel or start another other one to talk about lifestyle, personal development, etc? Thanks man

Any specific scenario on why you went with the dual channel rode instead of the single? I understand you can then record 2 sounds at the same time.
