I doubt you'll find any spare parts for such an old machine. You'll need to make your own.

Does your ratio change collar have the O rings fitted? My 10 speed is'nt anywhere near as easy to change, even with the change pins removed it is far stiffer than yours to change.

I've never seen it stripped down so can't answer your question. I do know it's always been easy to use.
