I believe you are correct considering some of the dialogue in that mission. Someone, I think Leia, mentions the queen had it built after the assault on Theed and Del mentions that it is outdated. So putting two and two together it would make since to say it was built to fend off the CIS.

In the prologue, while you're playing as the Droid going through the vents, you can hear soldiers commending Corona Squadron for taking down an AT-AT Walker at the Battle of Hoth and for discovering the existence of a second Death Star. You can find more about Corona Squadron in the book "Lost Stars" which I totally recommend reading.

To be honest, I did like the connections, but I felt like they were a bit shallow. Like the references were there, but they were more lines of dialogue or little easter eggs than actual elements of the story -- besides for the Han Solo mission, the game didn't really explore any well-established new canon ideas. I was frustrated, because besides for little chuckles, I didn't feel like the game rewarded all the reading I've done.

In all the info I found and is depicted in Star Wars Bounty Hunter the game where you play as Jango Fett one entire portion of the game is you are trying to get to a prisoner held in a asteroid prison ooval 4 may of spelt it wrong but jingo's ship gets damaged by a firespary interceptor so he is forced to find a new one he destroys one that attacks him steals one and destroys the rest including the transponder on the one he steals and then names the ship Slave 1 as far as I know that is cannon and since the ship was a prototype and he destroyed all other examples of it, it is the last of its kind so more than likely the one seen is or was Boba's as Boba is kind of a dead or until the writers write a story of how he escaped from the sarlacc pit on Tatooine.

Only didn't like two things about the campaign: 1. Length 2. The defection This game was supposed to the Empire's side of the story, instead we got a cookie-cutter turncoat story which I honestly found a bit out of character. Inferno Squad defended the creation and destruction of TWO planet-killing weapons then all of sudden when Vardos is the target, the Empire is bad? "Hope won't save the Rebellion!" remember? Conviction like that doesn't just change. This is like the whole Martha thing all over again: really, really bad execution of a "plot twist".

I agree with that it was badly executed, they should have used more time to show the cracks slowly growing in their belief. IMO them turning wasn't really out of character. They approved of the violence as long as it was "for the good of the people". They believed blowing up a planet or killing some Imperials during a mission was justified if it prevented future rebellions or more casualties. Their whole moral code was based on them being the protectors of the Empire's people even if they had to dirty their own hands. This makes them incredibly loyal to the Empire as long as they believe it provides safety for its people. When the Empire decides to destroy Vardos for no real reason than "the emperor said so" and doesn't even try to rescue its loyal population, their beliefs stand against their orders and they chose people above order.

Absolutely agree! After the Pillio mission there should have been another mission with the whole squad and THEN have the destruction of Vardos. And yeah, even then they shouldn't immediately defect, only after yet another even worse order.. Also: 3. forced, rushed love story 4. constantly playing as OT heroes instead of the ACTUAL main characters

In the book Battlefront II Gleb is described as having 4 eyes, so I was confused in the Vardos mission when she only had 2 eyes. When I replayed the mission, I looked closer and could see that her two lower eyes were closed... there are faint lines that indicate when the eyelid have come together.

I also feel like what they promised for the campaign was just a farce. Throughout the time the first reveal of the story was shown they kept mentioning that it's an Imperial campaign, yet what do we get? We get another Imperial defection story, and the actual Imperial side of the story was only 1/4th of the total campaign. Oh well, at least there's another -better- campaign that focuses on the Imperials in Battlefront II (Original).

About the ion pulse defense on Naboo. Sure it limits enemy casualties but I thought its main purpose is that since it was built during the clone wars like they said, to stop another invasion from happening, I thought its initial purpose was to disable battledroids and seperatist forces

Idk I still think Rey is their daughter. They were pretty deliberate in mentioning Del being a father and specifically having a daughter. I think it gives more significance to the characters otherwise why would we be following them? What better than an entire game to get to know her parents. Daisy Ridley said that she knows who Rey's parents are, but that she doesn't think they have a major roll in the new trilogy. Idk, the more I look at it the more it makes sense to me.

1993DJC Actually, they were introduced in the novel Star Wars: Inferno Squad first. If Rey’s parents are truly “nobody”, the only likely options from known characters in the SW universe are Iden and Del, or more likely Thane and Ciena. With all the holes of having Rey a Skywalker, Solo, or related to any of major characters, the chances of her parents being “nobody” is extremely high

Rey doesn't know her parents. Del gave up being a soldier to be a father. If that were the case, wouldn't Rey at least have a recollection of her parents? Rey is obviously immensely force sensitive so where did she get that sensitivity from? Most assuredly not Iden or Del. There are no signs of force sensitivity in either of them. Where is it said that Rey doesn't know her parents? The parents don't always have to be force sensitive for the child to be. Still, we have to think timeline. The 'Resurrection prologue' was not long before The Force Awakens, in which Rey is 19. So Rey would have to have been abandoned many years before, for a reason we still don't know.

You missed my favorite reference to the Inferno Squad book! In the final mission where you play as Kylo Ren, if you let the dialogue continue after you hear Del toast Admiral Versio, you can hear Iden mention Seyn’s sacrifice.

I actually might have caught a stretch of an Easter egg that I found funny during my game play. It was the Naboo mission when you're playing as Leia and Del is in the palace trying to activate the EMP blast and Del mentions that the technology is outdated though somehow complicated. To me this references how in the prequels, the technology looks way more advanced than in the original trilogies tech which ironically takes place in the future of the events of the prequels.

When Lando first walks Iden and Del through the rebel ship when they've been captured you can look briefly into a doorway where there's a rebel meeting going on. As soon as you look or try to hear what's going on however the door closes, if you could have a look and see if there's any Easter eggs there that'd be cool
