I have this one very fresh in my mind because I just read it. But for me, my favourite Glup Shitto is the woman that gives Lando Palpatine's DNA to use that superweapon in the final issue of the main Star Wars comic series. But I found her so so cool. I thought at first she was going to arrest Lando and she ended up being awesome. I know this is a very deep cut and I probably would have forgotten this moment had I read it a while back.

Mollie's hair is superior. Howser on his best day could not pull of that length. Most surprising (in a good way) was the ending of the Bad Batch. 47 years of sad, but hopeful endings had me prepped and ready to be unhappy with the ending of that series, so I was unprepared for something so wonderfully heartwarming. Best Death for me is Jecki - a shocking, brutal takedown you'd expect from a Sith apprentice. Mind you I wish she hadn't died, but I liked that there was no ambiguity about it. Most satisfying death would have to be Hemlock - he needed to die - a refreshing lack of any redeemable qualities meant nobody felt bad about taking him out. Best "I need MORE!" would have to be Tales of the Empire. I am a Morgan Elsbeth fanboy, so getting more of her story was wonderful, as was finding out what became of Bariss Offee. Enjoying Skeleton Crew so far, and I enjoyed the Acolyte too - some flaws and odd episode lengths, but I came away wanting to see how the story played out, as it sits in a spot after the High Republic and before the fall of the Jedi yet draws from both in a very different way. The harsh light placed on the Jedi was great, as were the machinations of the Sith.

If I remember correctly,the first time I heard that new scream was in Star Wars: Rebels Season 4 Episode 8 Crawler Commander, when Captan Seevor (the small Trandoshan guy) slips in the furnace after his fight against Ezra in the engine room.

Cortosis has been in canon prior to The Acolyte, yeah. If I remember right Anakin, Thrawn, and Padme had to face off against some Cortosis battle droids in Thrawn: Alliances.

yep, that’s what I was thinking as well. Thrawn uses some sort of energy weapon to defeat them after Anakin struggles hardcore to defeat them. Great moment in that book!!
